Here's the swaps that i have done...i haven't owned all but i have done them.

B18a into 88 CRX Si
B18a into an 90 HB Si
B16a into 91 CRX Si
B16a into 93 Civic Dx

I currently have a 93 Del Sol and i got a D16z6 that i'm in the process of building. Alsmost done, another month and it will be ready to br dropped in and fired up than, i'm going to use my old D15b7 to build a custom turbo kit. I want to drop a B18c into a 5th gen. Civic or any car really, i want to see if all the talk is worth it.

I'm doing a swap... I'm swapping a D15 DX engine with DPI into my 90 EX which used to have the MPFI A6 before the bottom-end blew and I sold my MPFI stuff

B18 is in my plans though...

Got a ZC swap here... But its chillin out in my work shop (Gettin worked on... Imagine that!) I currently have a D16A6 in my car which I swaped in one afternoon BY MY SELF... <----- This was quite a feet. If I didnt have a cherry picker and a shitload of tools it wouldnt have worked, was still a bitch by my self.... Any way thats what I got... Oh its a 90 DX hatchback.

Same here...used to have a ZC and now I have a b16a in my sedan. I have helped on a couple other swaps too. JDM b18c into a 92 hatch, b18a into a crx, and a 2g jdm b16a in another 92 hatch.

well....its not done yet....but very soon i will be swapping in a junkyard turboed d16z6 running around 10-12 pounds of boost, i ahve a "JG" edlebrock intake mani. pistons, and rods, port and polished head, and a knife edged crank....im HOPING to be pushing about 180-200 hp but i think i will make it to that mark

SOHC ZC here, still running DPFI though ... but I heard the new issue of honda tuner has a how to on it, and this guy in concord said his buddy would help me wire the shit up, so I might actually attempt this!! Im excited.

relocated the mounts and rewelded them, put an s2000 pulley on it so it's thinner(clears the wall by this much I--I) and other common stuff like changing the axles and rewiring it to obd1, and removing ac and powersteering. also the forks that hold the struts that the driveshaft goes through have been redone to make it wider but it still grinds against the driveshaft on U-turns.... and cut whatever part of the frame you need to cut to get out of the way like the headlight housings and hood.... and of course converting it to cable..... but everyone has thier own way of doing that.....

my chassis is holding up good with the extra bars that were put in to strengthen the frame and i've got integra tokico struts and integra skunk2 coilovers supporting the suspension as well.... it rides really smooth.

Frostee - Theres a new company coming out with these h22 mounts for 2nd gen rex and 4th gen civics. The local shop told me about it. He said NO CUTTING or WELDING involved! Just str8 drop in! I was thinkin about doin h22 before but i said fuck it i'm just gonna do a "poor" mans type r set up.

hmm.... no cutting?? i dunno about that in a 4th gen.... i guess it's probably possible, well it has to be since they say so.... but them mounts must run like 6-700 or so huh??
there's nothing poor about doing a type R setup, the thing's got about 30 more horses than my motor and it's lighter too.... i get spanked by them type R swapped civics.... only thing is that you cant smog a type R motor here in cali.... but if i was in a state where smogging cars didnt exist, i'd choose the type R motor over the h22. Im trying to smog my car through the referee so i can legalize this motor in this car and get that sticker for it incase i get pulled over and they bust out w/ a "under the hood inspection."

The reason they call it a "poor" mans type r is this... for an example. I have a b16 already in my ride. So what i want to do is i want to get type r block and just slap my b16 head on it:) How fast u run in a 1/4 mile? You should be hittin mid 13s stock?

hmmm.... i dunno about turbo, the thought of it does sound nice and the power it'd produce would sound even better but i dont know if it'd fit in there though..... i jus took this picture of it right now just to post it to see if you all thought it'll fit or not..... from the head to the front frame there i have about 14-16 inches.... so i'm gonna need some really short turbo exhaust manifolds that curve slightly to the right so the turbo doesnt hit the radiator....
about track times.... i dunno.... i dont think it'd be in the 13s... i dunno maybe very low 14s i would calculate.... maybe i would dip into the high 13s if i put headers and an exhaust on....

I have his old ZC which I completely tore apart and rebuilt. It is sitting on an engine stand waiting for the weather to warm up and a place to do the swap. I had an unexpected move this winter, so now I am looking to buy a house with a big-ass garage so I can spread my shit out ;)

There is a 6 gen HB out here in Daytona that has the h22a swap and becieds i/h/e, it is stock and he runs a 13.3 at the track and a 12.9 on slicks. How much heavier is the 6 gen then the crx?

You CAN get a BAR certification for type R motor swaps... George (my neaghbor) has one in his CRX. Also you CAN fit a turbo in there you have to get it "UNDERBUILT" which basicaly meens you have it built behind the motor and run the piping forward... Gets expensive!

-and about the fastest in here, it's probably more like ef_lsvtec, i dont consider my car really fast, just enough to satisfy my need for speed, and no matter how fast you are all motor, someone can just put a nitrous kit on and spank you.....
-about my 1/4 mile time, i still dont think i can get into the low 13s even w/ my slicks..... but i guess i'll find out next time they have them track openings in sac or bakersfield....

I got 2 12's but my amp sucks and my mids arent amped at all, so my system isnt all that loud. What are you running?

My 91 civic hb with two viper 12.2s and a viper d2500.1 with stock alt and pos bat=148.8 db( I can flip a soda can three times in the air)
My friends fucus with four kicker L5s and two crossfire bdf1000s(i think)=156 db
S10 extened cab with two viper 12.2s and a viper 600=142 db
Saturn with two l7s with a modded d2=151 db
these are just some of the people on our audio team

Extreme distrubance, look for us during SBN in Daytona this year

And i forgot to metion, these are all street class cars, no modded alts, i bat, audio equipment must be in the cargo space of the vehicle.

Sure! Use NOS or a trubo/supercharger with those 10 5:1 JE pistons and you will be fast as fuck! Thats what Im doin with the ZC... Eagle rods, 10 5:1 JE pistons, Darton 40+ Psi sleaves and iether a JRSC or a Garret turbo... Im thinkin the JRSC is the way to go thoe. If I get the Darton Extreme sleaves than I can just mash around with the big 12+ Psi pully on the JRSC and be cool :bandit:

I took my stereo out for performance reasons (Its heavy as fuck) In fact its for sale! Only $2500 and its ALL yours! Here is what I got:

Pro Series Monster Iterconects. Two 2 into 2 and one 4 into 4 for the 300/4.
Xplode head unit... Verry nice fetures its a $500 deck but only puts out 2V preamp, thats why I got a Clarion EQS Linedriver/EQ that bumps it up to 7-8V...
I got shitloads of 4gage, 1gage wires and spliters and comp fuses and yata yata yata... I got everything you need + some neon lights.

Bottom line is this shits brand new was only in my car for two weeks before I took it out because it was slowing me down. I have OVER $5000 invested in the stereo and have 5 year warinties and reciepts on everything, its almost all from good guys (IE speakers, amps, deck) so if your interested shoot me an Email @ [email protected] Otherwise just drool...

Wrong on the boost isue! You have to build it right if you want to run high boost + Hi CR pistons. My boys got 12 6:1 CR pistons in his EK type R motor (B16B) and he is currently up to 14PSI with a haltech computer! He gets 0 Traction and every time he lets out the clutch the wheels spin (Chirps @ 700RPM) Course he has a lot of other stuff done to it as well...

Well i actually agree with you! High compression is good for boost as long as its tuned correctly. Just dont go over 11:1. Anything higher than that its gonna be much harder to tune.

right why would you rob your engine of hp to make hp . drop cr and lose hp boost it to raise cr and gain . it is the same weather you go high cr turbo or low cr turbo you end up with the same hp but diffrent boost psi

EXACTLY! They only make low CR pistons for "RICER IDIOTS" who have already blown up there motors a few times before (Driving around town on 18+ PSI with stock internals and trying to beat supercharged SVT mustangs) You can tell there are a few around my area... Anyway they make these so that when these ricers get sick of spending money at the shop for blown gaskets and suck and they finaly buy a new motor they put these pistons in thinking it will be all good now! For the most part, it will... Only they will wonder why there turbo B16A wont keep up with a SuperCharged ZC :devil:
