Poor Minardi, their bank account doesn't have any tread either. Wonder why F3000 run on slicks since it's the last step before F1? Looks like the teams would want to groom their upcoming drivers on grooves?

In F3000 they have same tires for everyone and they are do not offer anything more than average grip (designed this way - at least from what I've heard). So ... erm .. can't really answer your question, but I could give you my crown of the official basttardizer as I can't wear it any more. :D:D:D:D

Still no tyre contract, they're taking the issue to the FIA. Question, if Minardi misses two days of testing, does it really make a difference?

Well, I think Justin Wilson needs to build up his confidence in F1, and any time he gets in the car right now is time well used.

i think minardi needs every bit of track time not just for justin, but the car. they clearly can not afford to test like the other teams so i would guess that every bit counts.
lets hope there cars get shod asap!

Yah, I wish Minardi the best; that passion can prevail over money.

What is everyone on about with passion over money thse days. Sure, Minardi will decline large sums of money and big sponsors so that their passion keeps them at the back of the grid.
I used to like Stoddard, but now he's become almost as much as a whigner as Ron Dennis. Cries over every issue. I't rumoured that his split with Michelin wasn't too friendly, so now he pretty much has no way back. Bridgestone are indeed under obligation to supply them with tyres for free (AFAIK), but only for race meetings. Test sessions - they can chose not to. If there is no cotract signed yet, why is it that Bridgestone should give tyres? Especiall considering they were using a 2001 car and a 2001 engine for testing. Minardi were the first team to switch to Michelins, so what makes them think Bridgestone will welcome them back with open arms???
You don't break the contract with your supplier before you get another one, do you?
