Help !! Im after some information about what you American owners do with your Chrome Rims in the Winter,
I know that it is ideal to take them off for the winter, but has anyone left them on all year round ? can they handle it ?
I know that Steel plated chrome would rust in the winter but how about chrome plated aluminium,
of course cleaning them regularly throughout the winter & especially after being in contact with road salt.
The colder USA answers the Better ! as the UK rarely sunny & Warm

I take mine off just to be safe. The wet is not what ruins them more, its the salt that is harsh.

Take them off (only 21days left of winter but oh well) if you haven't already, the salt, elements, risk of getting scratched, are all reasons to remove your rims. Go back to the stock one. Especially if you paid a grip for them i would take'em off.
