Eclipse GSX engine???

Hey, i have a GSX, and i kno thats its a 4G63 engine, isnt that the same engine as the Lancer Evolutions??? AND how come the Evolutions are so quick with the 4G63 enigne???

the lancer 4g63 is much different than the previous dsm. hollw cams, better compression, bigger turbo, just about every part is better.

The evo has 8.8:1 compression, what does the eclipse have?

90-94 eclsipse had 7.8:1
95-99 Eclipse had 8.5:1 (THis is the most desired all around compression)

The only reason the EVO came out with better hp#'s is becuase it was sold with bigger products.

7.8:1!!! So u could boost them up BIG TIME yeah?
I would say the EVO mainly has more power coz it has a bigger turbo, TD06.
All the other stuff make the block handle more power etc etc and stronger but doesnt really increase power.
