Well i just installed some used ebiach sportline springs on my 95 civic dx. They were
origanlly on a 92 civic hatch. My question is if one side supposed to be lower then
the other. It seems that the rear driver side is lower then the rear passenger side. The front is evenly lowered, it is the rear that bothers me. After the installation i asked some of my freinds if it is supposed to be this way. They said it was normal cause my shocks needed to settle, or its because the gas tank is on that side. The installation was done by me and a freind. We knew what we were doing and he had done this installation on many other cars befor (same models). Its just lowering springs added to an other wise stock suspension. After the installation, i went and got a re-allignment. Another thing, my ride seems to bounce, not a stiff bounce, but wavy one you know like ~. How can I get rid of this problem. Would new shocks fix that? if so what kind? Thanks for the replys and the help...

Does it bounce worse on one side than the other? Do either of the shocks make noise whe nyou bounce them???

the wavy ride is cause by shocks. see springs are there to support the weight of the car. shocks are there to dampen the roughness from the road. if you go over a bump with worn shocks there is nothing to absorb the force and then your springs just compress and rebound for a while giving you that wavy feeling. change your shocks. but im trying to figure out why one side is lower than the other. how much lower is it? an inch? 2? let me know

they are supposed to be a 1.5 or 1.6 inch drop. my front is even my rear driver side is about a 2-3 finger gap length. Sometimes this fluctuate its 2 finger length one minute then 3 the other with no added passengers just normal driving. And the passenger maintains a 2 finger gap length consistantly. Yes my shocks are still stock. But my friends says that they are still in good condition. About noise... i do hear the springs compressing but that is only when i drive slow over speed bumps not normal driving. Thanks for the help fellas I appreciate it.....
