if you don't need to put it back on, use a heat gun or hair dryer. heat it up, try not to burn you car down, just kidding. then cut through it logn ways, and pry it open. it will slide right off. The heat gun will losen the glue holding it on.

i had a little problem with my e-brake handle too, she was a tough 1 but i just started pulling and while i pulled i also turned it back & forth and little by little i was coming off after that i celebrated, MY STYLE :bonghitte
