Can somebody please post what brands and models of airbrush recommended and their prices, and maybe also inexpensive small compressor or CO2 tank and other accessories? Thanks.

Checkout dixieart.com for a good selection and prices. Take a look at the Badger 175 Crescendo set for $68 and the Paasche D500 compressor for $99.

You should also check out the Revell airbrushes, I was so impressed with mine (cheep, easy to clean, easy to use and it works well !!) that I bought a second one!

Which one(s) are you using? I use a master class pro (http://www.revell.de/cgi-bin/kat/katalog.pl?cmd=overview&KOSCHL=01&grp=02&ARARTN=39108&modellsuche=&showall=&ps_KOSCHL=&SWO=&MAS=&frei=&lang=de&kat=airbrush&sort=&page=1&mas=) and I like it a lot.

But aren't revell airbrushes copies of other brands' products?

I don't rember the names, I have 2 different ones, I will check tonight and post a reply.

Maybe the Revell airbrushes are copies, but they work great and they are cheep, well at least here in Switzerland they are cheep compaired to the Badger ones.

I also have the original Tamiya spray works, which is a great little airbrush, but I bent the needle and I can't get replacments here. (I bought it when I still lived in NZ, and I have had it for about 8 or 9 years) apart from the bent needle (which is my own fault), I haven't had a problem with it!

I have a Testor One (not the cheapest) nice one.. Have it for 1 year now and still working... but I need a new nozzel

Cost about 35$US (50$Can) and come with some Testor Acrylic paint... but can find the airbrush alone for about 20$ on Ebay

Your Revell Master Class Pro looks like it's a Badger 155 Anthem which is a very nice airbrush. I think it uses a single needle for all tip sizes. We cannot get Revell Airbrushes in the US as far as I know.

Iwata brushes are the BEST, for any application. SimAir compressors are really cheap and quiet, with res traps and a pedal to control psi. If
you're in Canada (Ontario) check out any Loomis+Toles art store, they
got pretty good deals. (If you're in the Oakville/Mississauga area, I can
hook you up with a discount on airbrush stuff)

As promised, here are the details for the Revell airbrushes I own.

I have the Profi set (I think the new name is the Vega) It is the basic double action airbrush.

And the Master class Professional for very fine lines and weathering.

Both are very easy to use and clean as well as being well balanced..... that means they sit well in the hand!

BTW does anyone know where I can buy spare parts for my Tamiya airbrush online?, HLJ don’t carry spares, and the Swiss Tamiya importer doesn't bring in the Tamiya airbrushes.

Hi~!
In my opinion, I think you should go around Singapore model shops and ask around. This way, you can see the range here. Because normally what other countries have, Singapore might not have...
Just like the Revell Itr... I so want it badly but no one imports it in here...
Because the agent not bringing it in...:(

Well I love my iwata, I got the HP-BC one, is a little expensive but the best I have ever used.I can do some fine detail. Only thing with it is with large area you are better off with a spray can such as rc bodies. I must say that for 1/24 models is perfect. never get any orange peel effect on the car.

Why not invest in a Badger from Orchard Store? They have all the spares etc, so back up isn't a problem. And Badger is a quality brand, so it shouldn't be a problem too.
