It makes the site that much less attractive to any potential female member. Tangie knows the guys using this sig, and that's the difference. Well I don't see it affecting you personally so I don't think you should have an opinion on it. If Igor has a problem with it, then so be it. See that’s where you’re wrong. Igor is a very busy guy and can’t be everywhere at once, and as the sole administrator of such a huge site, he certainly can’t track the postings of nearly 60K members. And that’s why he has a staff of moderators, like myself, whose responsibility is to watch over what goes on at the site. He trusts our discretion, in place of his own, to track what occurs, and to intervene where necessary. So my opinion here is asserted with the intention of representing the best interests of Igor, as well as the site. And my opinion, which is relevant here, is that I don’t like it. So please take up further complaints or objections with the man himself.

Didn't you guys read the Official Nice Guy Thread? Defending Tangie when she really could care less will get you nowhere :D Be daring. :D

If she was truly disturbed by the idea, or mad at you for it, then I'd advise against it...but as long as she doesn't care, there's no need to throw up a fuss and go all green peace

This is obviously a joke. With all the OCD behaviour over Tangie, I thought this would be a little bit of light entertainment. When I mentioned the idea to her on AIM she laughed then rolled her eyes a bit. I think it fits nicely with OT - Off Topic, humerous, light hearted digs etc. If anyone really has a problem with it, please email me, post here or PM me and I'll remove it.

and no Oz, don't remove it if "anyone" complains about it, remove it only if Tangie or Igor says. You have as much say as every other mod around here, so do not let them push you around.

I can see the humor behind it, but if you look at it objectivly as a member who prehaps dosnt vist OT, or for that matter know anything about Oz and Tangi then it could easily be mis-understood, and show a negative light on AF.

Its the sort of thing thats funny as an in joke for a day or two, but then needs to be dropped.


And of course the ablity to cause enourmos effence to Tangi is clearly obvious, however it appears you took steps to avoid it, and she has offered no clear objection in here.

and I see what you guys mean about people that don't come here often seeing it and thinking "what the hell" but when we did the million pman march thing there were people asking "what kind of cult crap is this" and other wierd things, once it was explained to them, they were like "oh, lol, cool. :D" So I say leave it for now, and if we start getting numerous complaints from others then drop it or change it as to where it's not so "stalkerish" :D
