whats the tip length on hks hiper exhaust?

A friend of my mine bought this knock off muffler off ebay it looks like a HKS hiper,he just got it last week and the tip is like 7" long it looks funny but thats what you get when you try to cheap out. Bfore he installs it he wants to cut the tip length down to more of the length of the hiper but have no clue what the length is? anybody know how long it is? I'm thinking like around 4" long maybe.
