Did anyone else go to the race...it was awesome. I was sitting in turn ten(right after the longest straight, through a 60mph ess, then back out to the front straight. There were a lot of nice cars there, also...I saw 10+ NSXs, 10 Vipers, 6 Z06s, 3 Ferraris (a modena, 328 GTS, and 355 Spyder), 2 lotuses (or Lotii, whatever) and tons of 996, 993, and 911 Turbos. The race was really exciting, at least ten spins occured between the practice, qualifying, and race...two cars even smashed the wall:( All of the cars sounded awesome, especially the 550 Maranello at 10K RPM:) The best part of all though was the Corvette win:D

Aw man! I wish I was there...they didn't even really show the Ferrari's on Speedvision. I saw the 550 once or twice during a yellow flag, and I never got to see the 360

I had a pass to get into the paddocks, so I got to see them working on both Ferraris, probably ten feet away...then they wheeled them out. I took some pictures, and I try to get them posted. The reason you didn't see either Ferrari too much is because the 360 smashed into a wall in the first quarter of the race, and the 550 was out with mechanical problems about halfway through. Yeah, I stayed all 10 hours, I was actually there from thursday night, when they first started to practice, till Sunday morning. It was probably one of the coolest things I've ever been to....if you get a chance to go, make sure you get a ticket to the paddock!
