Everyone in this world has some sort of philosophy towards life, some more extreme than others, some just plain odd and some kinda boring, but in my opinion thats one of many other things that make us different from one another. I myself feel that life is a mixture of fate and free-will, there are things you can decide on your own, but others that happen even if you don't want them to, or if you arent expecting them. What are your thoughts on life?

Life sucks as a teenager:o
I think that I think too much...

But on life as a whole, I'm pretty much like you right now; drift along the river of life, making MY own decisions as I go downstream; thinking about my future...

I'm lost:confused:

Theres only one thing that bothers me while drifting on the river of life. People in other boats who are drunk. By this I mean, assholes who care for no one but themselves and dont care who they hurt when going through life.

I'm not sure what philosophy I follow.

but I try to go along treating others with respect. I believe in fate, whatevers meant to be is meant to be. but also in no regrets. If I make a decision, I have to deal with the outcome whatever it may be. I've made the decision.

other than that I don't think theres much else to my reasoning.

but as NSX says I think I think too much.

I know I don't think enough, but as they say ignorance is bliss.

I trust my life to fate, what ever is going to happen will happen if you want it to or not. Just roll with it

Well, you have to take some action; I mean, you can't just sit @ home thinking your dream girl will come and you guys will get married; and happily ever after.

Unfortunately, that's not how our society works...:(
THen again, with all those online dating services...:D

Please see my Stress Release thread about these people.

As for me, I'm not religious in the sense of believing in a Supreme Being, but I do believe in a purpose of sorts...I think a lot of things happen for a reason, to achieve a certain end. Good or bad, there's been a lot of stuff that has happened to me that's weird.

Such as...I only get in car accidents or get my cars damaged when I have saved up enough money to get by. I saved up $800 and boom - car totaled. $800 paid for tax/registration on new car. I paid 2 months ahead on the payment on the new car, and boom - car vandalized, and I'm out $500 - two months' payment.

THEN there is the weird matter of my G. I think I was supposed to own it. Why, I don't know yet. But I do know that in the 4 days when I was shopping, it was THE ONLY P10 G20 available in the western US. This is especially interesting because 2 G20s that were for sale in my own town disappeared from the market that week. Both were sold immediately before I totaled my car. I searched through dealer inventories online for hours. I called every dealer within a 200 mile radius. Nothing, but my car. Immediately after I bought my G20 both local cars got repossessed and came back on the market .

Then recently my boyfriend was car shopping, and couldn't find a single place to finance him. Not one. Then I went to a local dealership and saw a 99 Maxima that they had JUST pulled off the truck - it hadn't even been detailed yet but it was beautiful. I knew immediately that I couldn't show it to him because he'd fall in love. But I did anyway, he fell in love, and they (!!) financed him immediately. (Also I talked them into matching our $2000 down. ;) )

HERE'S THE WEIRD PART: We have almost exactly the same key pattern. Matter of fact, my key turns over his car - it won't start for lack of "the chip" but it still turns over! I have come to the conclusion that we are supposed to be together, and the cars are supposed to belong to us. To what end, I don't know. It might be bad, it might be good.

Anyway, that's just a few examples but there have been a lot of things in my life, and others around me, that have worked out too perfectly. Like the movie Signs, some small thing that seems of no significance falls into place later.
