IDRAG Nationals (PIC INTENSIVE)

For those that don't know, there are 2 main National Drag racing events in New Zealand (specifically the North Island). There is the 4 and Rotary Nationals late in the year and the IDRAG (Import Drag Racing Advancement Group) Nationals which are on this weekend.

Today was supposed to be Scrutineering, Qualifying and Grude racing. But due to shitty weather in the morning all that got done was the Scrutineering. Here are some pics from DAY 1.

It was a good day with Reece running 8 second 1/4's and me snapping LOTS of pics.

Can be a bit hard trying to organise some of the "egos" out there (aye Razor :bloated: )

Sweet pics, Taz. I wish I could go to the races and see cars like that. All I are cocky Civics with just intakes and coffee can exhausts and stock Mustangs/Camaros.

Just one friendly correction, that's not an Evo VI, it's an Evo V GSR. It's my favorite car in the world. :cool: I've never seen one in real life. You're so lucky!

Actually Mike is not all that bad of guy. He just has gotten so arrogant lately, that is why I said what I said.
You can't take away from his accomplishments and his tuning ability. Look at the performance of that bat, Reece's car and the Croydon race car.
I just wish he would pull his head out of the clouds he is in. Oh well guess you get that.

I believe there were no less than 8 GTR's down there on the day and well over 12 Evo's. I actually started to look around to see if the Rally of NZ had been shifted to a new date or something:D
