I am so there. Have a few things to complete in the next 80 or so days... ;)

edit: BTW, last year Walter (wkma7six) took second place in the "1:24 Factory Stock Vehicles" category with his 'Honda S2000 Kameleon Paint.'

How many AFers can we get on the podium this year? :D

Just plain scary how many of those names on the 2002 TamiyaCon winner's list are people I personally know (Including the Master Modeler winner and free trip to Japan on Tamiya winner, Dale King). If only their skills would just rub off..;-)>

I'm in Jay. If only so that some of the vibes and skills rub off on me.

It's cool, man! :) I went empty-handed last year and was totally blown away by the talent of the entrants, as well as being in awe of Tamiya's own showcases.

Plus they have a cool parking lot clearance sale. ;) (at they did last year...)

I'm guessing I'm only gonna go on the Sunday...eh... maybe both days. :o We can figure out some meet-up details when it gets a bit closer...

I know. Been there the the last three years. Hopefully I can make it again this year. C'mon, a chance to shake Mr. Tamiya's hand himself, how could I not go.

Normally I pick up some supplies more than kits at their tent sale.

We should meet.

About the clearance sale, do they sell some good kits or is it all scrap parts and useless stuff???

I'll be there, but I'm not entering. They have some good stuff for the sidewalk sale. I remember seeing some Ferraris and the S2000 with mugen wheels for sale last year, as well as paints and stuff.

Why aren't there many events on the east coast? I can't afford to fly there from rhode island.
