I just got my ypipe in the mail today after about 2 weeks of desperate waiting =(
My father wanted me to get it put in professionaly cause he was afraid of perhaps bolts breaking and whatnot.
I went to Meinike and the guy gave me some illegal bullshit. I was like F-off
So i called this other place and they say they should be able to do it, hopefully they are not give me some mobo jumbo.
IF all goes wrong, I"m calling up a buddy i met at the last maxima meet in chicago to do it for free.
Peace

your dad's right though. the bolts pn the cat are always the rustiest and most stubborn. very succeptable to the head breaking off, then you gotta get a tap&dye. if you do it yourself lemme know how it went. i'm gonna get my y pipe when the weather gets nice

just go buy some drive up ramps. they're pretty cheap opposed to a hydraulic lift

Or just get a set of jackstands for around $20-$30 and jack the car up using your stock jack. Slip the jackstand under the one side, then jack the other side up, and put the jackstand under there as well.
Hydraulic jack or not, if you aren't using ramps, you should always use jackstands when jacking up the car. Many people have died from jacks failing and having the car crush them. Jackstands onthe other hand, would take the impact of another car to knock them off.
