if any of you think you have it bad sometimes with mods on your car, listen to this fiasco with my headlights...

1. ordered halo projectors
2. 1week wait for delivery
3. one headlight is defective and high beams don't work
4. company sends replacement headlight
5. 1week wait for delivery
6. ran out of quick splicers (to wire halo)
7. attempted to splice wires myself
8. touched two exposed wires (pos and neg), blew fuse and headlight switch
9. 160$ for new headlight switch + installation
10. wired halo into fuse (finally, it works)
11. wire gets disconnected
12. attempting to fuse again does not work
13. splice wire into other headlight wire
14. halo works (finally, again)
15. left halo not as bright as right halo

so just remember that when you get mad about something. i am redoing the entire wiring of the driver side halo tomorrow. hopefully that will end all this mess. peace.....

ok everything is great now. as you can see from my sig, i got the lights working. i agree with you shep, it was stupid of me to work with the power on. i learned to take things slow and do it right the first time. i spliced the driver side earlier today and tested them out this evening. they work great. finally, i can go back to looking into other mods... i might be able to post more pics of the lights tomorrow...peace
