Pulling weight will not mess up your back.
If there is no time limit, you should make it.

If you get cold, you can always just get in the car and heat up. But it shouldn't be too much trouble once you get it going. Going around corners might be a little tricky though.

Make sure you have enough rope that if you fall you won't get run over by the car.:D
Once you get it moving, pace yourself and you should be able to do it.
as far as the back thing you are primarily using your legs so I would'nt worry bout hurting your back.

Yeah, don't worry about your back...
don't start with the incline... once you get the car rolling, it will get alot easier, and the faster you get it going, the easier the incline is going to be...
And you're probably going to have someone steering for you right?
Anyways, you should be able to do it, but wait for the snow to clear...
And if you're really working it, you shouldn't get cold, so don't worry about that either. Just make sure to stretch your legs before you do it.

Well, if you bet that you WOULDN'T be able to do it, just 'fake' trying and then sit down defeated.
On the other hand if you bet that you COULD do it, stretch your legs out, watch for traffic, and make sure whoever's steering doesn't try to be clever and ride the brake.
And post pics!!

Yeah - you could hurt your back in so many ways, its about impossible to count. Fess up and say its not worth it. Unless their are six figures in the winnings, I wouldn't even consider it and I am about the same size (just a decade or so older)

naaah man, no sweat you can do it, i've pushed our Oldsmobile Silhouette with ease, and pushed my caprice with a little grunt, and belive me, that caprice is heavy!!!. i'm only 5 foot 10 and 160 lbs, then again i squat 320 lbs and played linemen in jr high but you shouldn't have to big of a problem. if anything, put some shoulder pads on and get a runnin start at the car:p , hehe not serious but good luck!!

you should try it pushing, less back worries. If there's any ice, find some sprinting shoes and put in 3/8 inch spikes in.

All you need to do is get it moving. One several occasions We've pushed my friend's car down a hill like a bobsled and hopped in. You said you have a slight incline to go up, why not try pushing the car form the other way? It's just aorund the block, where you start from dosen't matter does it?

Go for it. There was some guy who did the same thing with a 747 a few years ago. 747 > Volvo. Going up an incline is better than going down. ;) Think about it.
