Hey guys, my zc is idling really high. It used to just do it when it was cold, but now it always idles at about 2000 rpm. Any ideas or things to check? Any help is appreciated!

Its supposed to idle high when cold, but when warm its not, just adjust the idle screw on your throttle body when the car is warm, that will fix it.

there is a cold engine sensor sort of. when the engige is cold it allows more air and more fuel to be delivered when it is cold. it is located on the intake manifold when the car is cold it will a certain vaccumm and as it warms it pull less, but when the sensor goes bad it will think that it is cold all the time, i may not be a 100 percent correct

Dizzy or cap cracked, Fast Idle/Cold Idle Valve (although this usually just fluctuates the motor) lastly the Idle Control Valve on the back of the throttle boddy is rooted. Replact the Throttle body complete with ICV (don't try and adjust the ICV - it cant be done outside the factory).
Good luck, the last was the solution on my B16A
