help!!! got bubbles in my paint!!!!!!

help!!!
i got bubbles in my paint, there small bubbles n the paint is kinda of ruff
(btw this is in regards to my c-west rx-7)
but its unnoticiable 2 da eye you have 2 touch the car to notice the paint,
i will try 2 post pics but i got no digi cam, so any 1 can help me by tellin me why it has little bubbles n why is the paint job kinda ruff?

i noe i didnt 2 everything i had 2:
1. didnt prime
2. didnt sand
3. only let 15 min between each coat of sivler paint
4. 5 coats of silver
5. 3 coats of clear

so plz help me tell me what 2 do?
should i strip da paint n re do this car? n if it comes to that wat do i use 2 strip it with byw short on cash on 17 n no real job so i was wondering if i can use paint thinner 2 strip the paint?
o0o 1 more thing can i may be do a light sanding with the clear coat on n re spray the clear coat?

Using spray can? You probably sprayed too close to the object, and the gas didn't evaporate before it reached the model. Maintain at least 30 cm or 1ft when using a spray can.
Wait for a week, and use fine sand paper such as 1500 grit or above. Cut it in very small size, and wrap it around a small stick, or even the back of a brush, and tape it. Then, sand and smooth the bubbles. If bubbles are in the clear layer, you just have to lightly spray clear a couple of times. If it's in the silver layer, recovery is a little bit tricky. You can mask the body and paint only the affected panel, but that might cause a slight change of tone between two neighboring panels.

This and shaking the can to much, it is better to swirl the can to mix the paint and solvent as shaking also introduces the propellant into the paint in the form of small bubbles......

Strip with lacquer thinners? NEVER do that!! Thinners will also dissolve the model body. To strip lacquer paint like Tamiya spray use regular brake fluid, to strip anything else you can use Castrol Super Clean(I believe there may be more on this in the FAQ?)

Not true, I always shake the cans just before I spray, the trick is to depress the spray button for one quick second, while pointed away from your model, this will get rid of the bubbles before you spray the model.:)

I won't argue with you Veyron, since I have done both without any negative consequences, I just know on the Tamiya site the fella who wrote the 'How To' doesn't recommend shaking them for the bubbles reason.
I normally spray a 'test line' against the side of my spray booth anyway, which I guess helps:)

Yeah, I read that too, but after I had been using this paint for more than ten years and developed my own technique. Thanks for bringing up the shaking thing, it is a valid issue.:)

so do i re-spray?
sand n clear coat?
or leave as is?

You can sand those bubbles smooth, if you wish, and spray another coat or two. If the paint is already on there too thick, you may want to strip it and try again.:)
