02 Civic Type R (EP3)

Just started on this tonight

All I did was add a little bit of front camber and also lowered it

last pic

I just need to finish up the interior and paint the shell

I bought the kit fron www.hlj.com, picked up a couple of them actually.

I can't decide between Spoons or stockies, since I got two kits I might build a full race and a street version.

nice civic ep3. My brother has one too but he hasn't started it yet. Thats my favorite car

your car looks nice spoonman, That's how I was going to build the other kit. This one is going to be a street car and the other a spoon full race version.

Since SpoonMan has already recreated this version, I was thinkin' of making the blue/yellow spoon version. Still unsure though, I love the clean white look.

I was going to attempt the Mugen kit, but am still a newbie and wouldn't know where to start:confused:

I finally got around to painting it. I used Tamiya Racing White, it turned out a little yellower than I'd like.

Tamiya racing white has a little creamy yellow, I learnt my lesson too when I used racing white last time. You should have used tamiya pure white ts-26

how close is tamiya pure white to honda's championship white? I might have to pick some up and repaint it.

Almost the same. A little yellowish in that white but not that creamy like Racing white.

with the exception of lowering and the spoonies it's all box built. I bought two of these, the second one will be the full race version
