well...as many of you know i wrecked my 89 Si about 2 months ago. no wait..about a month ago...it was December 13, a friday. and well now im getting ready to go on a mission for my church and my mom said that when i get back i get to pick out a car. and my price range is between 30,000 and 100. so here are some of the choices i've come up with so far. all of these car's will be used.
Nissan Skyline
Honda Civic SiR or SiR II
Mini Cooper
Honda S2000
Acura NSX
Dodge Viper

but in reality the cars that are more likely to be something that im gonna get is either one of the Honda Civic's or the S2000...so please...give me some ideas on what i should get...and what some of these cars have advantages or disadvantages over the others...u know...the pro's and con's of each car...thanx

you guys r prolly gonna hate me for sayin this but.... go for the skyline!
pros... FAST, and FUN!
Cons... Insurance is prolly a bitch, and i think they have to be imported over here, like from what i've heard anyways.
my second choice would be either the S2000, Civic or NSX
third choice (and i know u didnt list it :() Supra!

hold on, you have between 30-100K to spend on a car and this is all you can think of?

my list would include:
Porsche turbo
M5
M3
vette Z06
Viper GTS
NSX
M-B SL 500
Escalade on 25"
Supra
Skyline

I would go skyline. Depending on what model skyline, you can get one imported andall over here between 30,000 and 100,000. Tell her if she has any money to spare she can buy me a skyline :D

THEY HAD A SKYLINE...I THINK IT WAS A 2000 FOR $41,000 AND ABOUT $12-16,000 TO CONVERT IT OVER TO US....I PERSONALLY WOULD WAIT ABOUT A MONTH TO CONVERT IT OVER JUST SO YOU CAN KNOW HOW IT REALL HANDLES :) IF POSSIBLE, IF U GET IT ASK THEM TO REMOVE THE GOVERNING CHIP

maybe he dont need to get a job... maybe his family are loaded so he dont have to work... people come from different places here... dont jack him off just cos he is better off than u or somthing hehe... Maybe his dad and his mom worked real hard so he would not have to work.

a skyline would be nice, but then you gotta worry about importing it and all that other stuff. i would go for a used geo metro, now that's a car. lol, j/k. i say just get whatever you want because with that kind of price range you really can't get a bad car.

alright let me straighten things out...i mean i only have between $100 and $30,000 to spend. And just to let some of you guys know i do work. my work doenst pay me enough to get what i want. i appreciate my parents buying me this car. shit...i didnt beg them for it. but that doesnt mean i aint gonna stop them from wanting to get me one...hehe. ya insurance is gonna be a bitch once i get back. but i think i've made up my mind on which car. im gonna go with the S2000. then once i get that EVERYTHING i do to the car is going to be from me. my money...not mommy's or daddy's. but i'll probably ask for another car too...one that i can drive just to get to and from work...my S2000 will be my play car. i'll probably ask for a car under $1000...well thanx to all you guys who posted.

I would be modest and buy a fourth or fith gen CIVIC and fully restore it
with all factory JDM and USDM parts. If your budget is that high, do both!
You could always import a civic Type-R too.

ahah....that closed your price range down big time. I see nothing wrong with parents buyin you something everyonce in awhile. But the people who have their parents buy shit all the time, i can't stand them. If they offer to buy you something every once in awhile, jump on it, don't be stupid, i would do the same thing.
