is the removal of tail lights easy is 3 peices or 1?

3. The outside parts are attached to the body and that other thing is attached to the hatch.

thx is it easy to remove the outside parts from the body, cause when i buy a 88-91 hatch i plan to do something

I've never done it but I'm sure it's not hard. I'm pretty sure the center piece is just held on by 4 obvious nuts.

It's cake, just undo the nuts and your all set. I think that their either 8mm or 10mm...their small.

there is five little nuts on each tail light if thats what u mean. u have to take ur rear interior panel out

Just watch when you put them back.....the bolts are just little studs in the plastic and I snapped a few of them when I was tightening them back in. So, don't make em really tight or they will break off. Now mine leak a little.

im going to shave the gas filler door and reroute the filler to behind the rear taillight and im putting it on a hinge system and i dont own the car yet so i havnt had the chance to look at the light setup

Ahhh sweet! i've seen that done before to a civic I think, it was in a magazine awhile back, think it was either Import Tuner or Honda Tuning it'll look pretty cool, good luck on doing it when you get a car!

there was also a 4th gen with the feels body, and widebodykits, it was either a dar blue or a dark purple, and had a grafic on the windshield that said "feel's good" it had a shaved has door and the fill up behind the pass. taillight

oh, and the car i was mentioning was from honda tuner.....dont get this car confused with the 6th gen civic with the same body/widebody kit and the ame sticker on the windshield, it was in a like 98 issue of import tuner

That would b the one! i rememberd that cuz i was flippin through my magazines tonight and saw it but couldnt remember wut one it was, i knew it was white with orange flames. is that where you got the idea to do it from?

i read that articale back when it came out and i loved that idea and now since im going to buy a 88-91 hatch to be a project i deicied to try it
