And here's the BAR for this year. Is that an ugly looking paint scheme or is it just me? :bloated:

What do you expect? With the shortage of funds...I don't understand why Honda doesn't just pull the plug on BAR and head out on their own like Toyota and Ferrari.

I sincerely doubt BAR have much of a shortage of funds. Their budget is not the biggest, but at the same time they should be very secure with the BAT backing.
Also the latest JV attacks on his teammate and the team boss probably won't be helping the matter too much.

Somehow I don't think there is a shortage of money at BAR when their principle funding, BAT, also backs the Subaru WRC(hence the 555 on the side of the Subaru's at certain events).
Plus.....I think it is a lot prettier than some red offerings.....:D

OK, after browsing through pitpass (http://www.pitpass.com) news archive here are some articles:
Give it a rest Jacques (http://www.pitpass.com/news2/news.cfm?newsid=4421)
Button hits back at Villeneuve (http://www.pitpass.com/news2/news.cfm?newsid=4429)
Your thoughts on Jacques (http://www.pitpass.com/news2/news.cfm?newsid=4437)
Don't get me wrong, while I consider everything he's said about MS utter bs, he has every right to speak his mind about any driver he wants. But not about his teammate or the team!

He should welcome his teammate, not discourage him; or maybe it's Jacques' own way of welcoming Jenson, b/c maybe Jacques didn't get a warm welcome into his first few teams.

why do you guys think its so ugly? Its paint theme done with taste.
Guido

I think the paintscheme is ugly because of the air-intake colours. They are ok, but why do they stop all of a sudden. Where the airscoop goes wide into enginecover. They could have smoothed out that make it a bit more flowing, speedish. Now it looks like the air-intake is not a part of the rest, looks like it's glued ;) on.
It might be a good caar, but it doesn't look fast. Front end and nose look like an early Prost, the one in which Panis crashed heavily in Canada, don't remember the year or type though and the sidepods look like a Williams 2002 copy...
Apparently the Honda is also down on power. JV and JB won't be front-runners this year.

They made it themselfves pretty difficult in claiming that they were going to in the first F-1 race they were going to enter, but ended up being last in the championship. Go figure the arrogance. Once you get an image like that, it's very difficult to get rid of that... :(

Exactly right. Their arrogance really was out of this world. Im glad theyre doing badly. Sounds mean, i know, but they came in to F1, slagged everyone off and got exactly what they deserved : humiliation :bloated:

... jacques seems bitter
The dumbass should be bitter, he wasted the prime years of his career with a team ran by sorry management, I think he's just really stubborn. He is rich, but someday he'll wish he made better decisions, who wants him now?:)

Very well said. He should focus his mind on his job, not like he's been doing in the last few years. Its such a shame whats happened with him, i think he's second best only to Schumacher in terms of talent.. if only he'd clean up his act
