Lambo Door Conversion

Does anyone know how to do this to a '90 240sx? I would love to know how to do it and whats required to do it. Thanks for the help.

Man thats not cool. Real mods are anything from stock trim. A mod is a mod, don't be a dick because you dont agree. If he likes it let him. If you dont, then dont post, I dont recall him asking for your help specifically.

i'm just trying to tell him that most of the guys on this 240SX forum are all about PERFORMANCE (real) mods, and not lambo door conversions and altezza tail lights and stupid crap like that. no he didn't ask for my help specifically, but if you take a second look at this line..

you'll notice he asked for ANYONE's help, so i can post if i want to. so i'm just trying to tell him that he most likely won't find much help here. you don't have to be a dick and tear apart my posts. if i don't agree with something someone does to their car, i'm allowed to express my opinion am i not?? i didn't say "don't do it you fucking moron!" i simply said that it wouldn't be to my taste. for example, look at the list of parts on your car. if i were a total knob, i would come right out and say that every single one of those parts is ricey crap. homemade air filter?? haha...but i'm not a dick, so i won't do that! you're modifying a car to your tastes, and although i may think it's ugly crap, i can still respect your dedication towards modifying your car. i agree that the second part of my post wasn't great so that's why i got rid of it. so thanks for your opinion on my post, it meant tons....:rolleyes:

Now to my car. A, the only rice in my car is the tailights and the gauges. The rest is all performace mods. The homemade intake is an exact replica of an AEM CAI the most respected intake for my car, but my version cost $40 and not $200. What else is rice?

I have to agree that scissor doors are ricey...I think maybe the only situation where those would be ok is if you had already addressed everything else...like the motor, the suspension, the brakes...if that had all been taken care of and was great...then you could move on to body stuff...

But if it's the first thing you want to do? Forget it!

240SX is about turning and going fast! Not looking like a rice-a-roni mobile!

anyways i know i saw something a while ago on this forum saying it just required minor modification and different hinges, keeping searching this forum and i'm sure you'll find it

It's a little more than a couple of hinges and minor mods...it took this one guy one whole year to figure it out and make it work just like a Lamborghini's doors

It's alot of money to throw in...and money I'd rather see go toward kicking some Honda ass...not looking like one (rice)

Thanks... but unfortunately it's not your car or your money so lets try not to insult each other here.

he's not trying to insult him, he's merely stating what he thinks is rice and what isn't. and he's right! so what if the guy is a ricer though? if that's what he wants to do to his 240SX, then so be it. i'm not going to try to change his opinion just because i think Lambo doors are ghey. if he's running an SR20DET that puts out 300hp, a GPSports body kit and 18" Advan wheels and he just wants to be different by going Lambo doors, then i think that's awesome! but if he's painting it color flipping paint with a veilside body kit, huge chrome wheels, altezza's and nothing done to the engine, then that's not quite so great. but performace comes before style in my book. i'd rather have a 300hp monster that looks like shit then a 140hp show-winner. oh and btw your car isn't that bad, i was just a bit steamed when i wrote my last reply.

Thank you, I agree with what you say, but I just felt that it was not a great way to put it. Your understanding and knowledge and also ability to right wrongs has brought you back in my book. No hard feelings here.

yes show before go baby~ all show~!!! i like to show my friends how much faster my car got with every little thing i do the engine, and hey i swear, the KA does spit out noticable amount from every little thing. but seriously yeah go before show. definitly. i mean after i've invested like 5000 dollars in my car from rebuilts, and performance, i'm finally goin to put some rims on!! just rims!! then afterwards, comes the bomex eye mask, then a skyline bumper * i always wanted one* then finally to finish it off, a nice t3 turbo for my KA from realnissan. then i'll be set for a while.

all go, sleeper style, lowering already makes the car look hella tight. jus throw some advan onis, (GOD i want them......but i dont have 700$ for each WHEEL):frown: :frown:
