96 engine swap

I am interested in possibly swapping out my 2.2L for something bigger and better. does anyone know an engine that can be an easy swap and not cost me a huge dint in my wallet.

I know that a guy that did a 2.2 to a 3.1 conversion... but it was on a 92 model. I'll ask him cause he might have more info for you.

The actual info on his "tutorial" is pretty weak, but if you contact him I'm sure he can answer more of your questions.
