what would u guys expect a 2.2L 96 Cavalier with the following mods (I/H/E, eletric turbo blower, high perf. spark plugs, performance timing and intake chip, throttle body, and the normal things that would shave weight like rims and carbon hood, etc.) what would u expect this car's time to be in the 1/4 mile??????

Its just one of those little fans that you put in your intake. :bloated:

Not an actual turbo. And as I wrote in
this post (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?postid=730886#post730886) , I think they are a waste of money, and may actually block more airflow than they add.

I agree with Hummerman... but if you really want to try it I encourage you to do so. Everybody dumps on them.. but I haven't heard from anybody that actually tried one, so I would like to hear what you think about it!! :)

You may gain a second and a half with all those mods. don't hold me to it I completely pulled that out of the air. but if pikacho is right and the cav runs 16's - I don't see it doing much better than 15 though(with the mods you listed)

I'd say 16.2 with all that. electric turbo? the name itself is a contradiction..Turbos are spooled by exhaust, not electricity! its a con for the weak minded. Second of all unless your going to run a big turbo on that 2.2, don't spend a dime on it... with all that shit you just described you won't even get what a 2.4 stock will get at the wheels. do an engine swap if you really like the car.

If you wanna try and make more horsepower from your intake get the intakes that are short rams and have the filter in a box filled with ice with a drain. coolest air you can put into a intake. or just get a job and buy a damn kit like normal ppl. i can't believe i just wasted 20seconds of my life telling you not to hook up a cheesy fan to your intake. jesus get a grip of reality lol

Dude i'm not trying to bring u down or put you down, but if you post something and can't handle the answer, then don't post. You said you were planning on buying it. Just stop trying to find cheap ways out of it. You cavy isn't gunna get faster with fairy dust dude. You can't turn a golf cart into a lamborgini with 14 bucks that the little boat fan costs. like i said man, get a turbo on that 2.2. do a custom turbo setup cause the kits cost 2 grand too many. all u need is a t3/to4 hybrid and boost lightly. then you can go race mustangs.

This is the last post im am posting on this subject right here, i just wanna say i know im not gonna make this car faster with "fairydust". I understand the concept of these things. I was getting some imput on what you guys thought (cause yes if the imput was good i would purchase this) I can handle the post i just dont think ppl need to be asses about it....ya know after all this is what this forum is for ----> questions and answers and thanks for ur answer:flipa:
