Gt Wings... Which one to use??

Hey everyone, I am starting to really make some progress on my Tamiya '99 Celica... And I have decided I want to put a GT style wing on it. I know that there are the SAS wings, and the Aoshima wings, but i dont know which one to get. The only issue with me is that I think the Aoshima wings are cheaper with the shitty Canadian dollar.

Could someone please let me know what the big difference between the two are, and post pictures of both if possible.

i''m looking for the same... but the Aoshima and the SAS are the same price even in Canadian (ok maybe 0.50$ difference)

I think I will order SAS one cos you can make 4 and aoshima only 3

Are they really?... I thought the SAS were more... hmm.. maybe i will go with those... but i want to see some more pictures of them if anyone has any.

I just looked into it... and including shipping, the SAS wings would be like 16/17$ ... and the Aoshima would be like 9/10 without shipping, So im guessing they would end up about the same price in the end... So now i just want to see pics of both

Aoshima Wings are 12$Can on HLJ... with shipping it will be the same

anyway, i'm not sure, but I think Aoshima are made of plastic while SAS one are Metal and resin.. so more quality....

Chris's are far and away from Aoshima. Get Chris's!

No. I am bringing out my own CF decals though, i placed an order with the printers the other day, still waiting to hear from them.

Paypal is an online payment system as used by Ebay etc. You can send cash in post if you want.

I have the plastic aoshima wings they are not that bad but they lok bulky on a car.. Im waiting for a order of the sas wings now and ill let ya know how those are from the stand point of a newbie to p.e. stuff and looks.. But from what ive seen the sas wings are the better choice.. As for price be careful with paypal.. on the sas site the converter said the us dollar was close to the euro dollar but on paypla for my order of 30 odd bucks i had to pay 46.00 us.. paypal list it as 1.00us=.60euro it sucks..

I start to think it's UK Pound and not Euro.. that make a big difference if it it..... 19£ would cost 46$Can insted of 30$Can... that hurt

So it's not in Euros its in pounds... so damn how much will that be in our shitty Canadian dollar??.. i dont wanna spend a million dollars on plastic wings for my models... even though i really want them.

Oh and also fly.... how long do you think until you get your next celica kit done?.. you know the yellow one in your projects section

hha one more thing fly.. and idea... you should make mufflers and sell them or even throw them in with body kits and such., cuz your stuff looks awesome

Hm, where'd you get 11.5 Can Aoshima wings? They're listed for retail at HLJ for about ~$10 US

nah shorty, but what u can do, is buy a regular Tamiya s2000 and buy a body kit from Chris (Fly on the Wall) at ScaleAutoStyle.com...
