I thought this would be a cool poll type thing. OK, If you could have any three cars what would they be and why?

1. Lamborghini Murcielago - Beautifully designed and very fast
2. Nissan Skyline GT-R - 1,000 HP... enough said
3. There are a lot of cars I can fill this slot with. I definitely want cars 1 and 2, but there are about 34535636 cars that I want equally after these. Perhaps an Enzo Ferrari or Mclaren F1...

Mclaren f1 - so I could sell it and buy a large beachfront house.
Austin Martin Vanquish - because I fell in love with this car when I saw it at the autoshow last year
Spyder VR4 - nevermind, already bought it :)

Definitley not a man who likes driving.
1. Ferrari 575 Maranello- possibly the worlds finest dynamics, monster enine, very comfortable and suprisingly practical.
2. Porsche Cayenne Turbo- the best luxury SUV offorad, the best on road- It'd be funny watching the faces of Corvette and Camaro owners as a Luxury Suvvee knocks them dead.
3. Nissan Skyline R34 GTR VSpec II- the choice of aftermarket mods is endless.

I try to be good Jim.Im good to evey body on the board, even you at times.I have a lot of fun too.But you love to get trouble started with me.Why is that?See,you make a stupid,non-intelligent comment like that and I respond with something more intelligent, and Im always the bad guy.
Jimmy, instead of always critisizing what I like, keep you negative comments to yourself. You always do this, and it seems like its only me you do it to.Just post on what the topic is about, and don't bother other people like me,and say the cars I like are no fun when you have been behind the wheel of none of them. You like European cars,do I come on and tell you that there no fun to drive and they suck?NO,so leave me the hell alone about what I like.Im really sick of hearing it Jim.If I didn't like to drive I wouldnt have two very high performance Cadillacs.I like luxury cars,I like the way they drive,I like options and leather seats,I like big cars,I like cars with cariage tops,I LIKE LUXURY CARS.Why you can't seem to get that is beyond me.You seem to have a problem accepting what others like.If its not you kinda car,it sucks, hey, did I just guess your motto?YOU have no say in what I like.So close your mouth, and just post the three cars you'd love to have.
Now this will lead to something bad and you will tell me I started everything, just like the SUV thread.Im gunna end my speaking to you in this thread here.

:D
Here is the list of mine.
1. Hennessey Venom 1000TT Viper. One bad ass ride with more HP than any street legal car out there. Kick all the Ferraris in the ass.:D
2. Corvette Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette. Holds speed record.
3. Cadillac Esclade and Aston Martin V-12 Vantage. Love the luxury of both and performance. Nothing get better than this in my opinion.

OK I understand if you like the luxury of the Cadillac Escalade- but you can hardly say it has performance- 0-60 in 10.5 seconds- the Grand Cherokee 4.7 does it in 8- and thats not even the Overland model, the Cayenne Turbo in 5.5
and just so you know- your Hennessey will without doubt fall to pieces after 10,000 miles- that and you probably won't ever get your car (Hennessey was a barstard- we all know that) also- you have to understand that on the track the Hennessy has very little chance- The stock Viper barely holds it's own against a 330i in the corners- so what makes you think a Hesseny could beat a 575??? Also if a Ferrari was sent to Koenig- then we'd all be saying "Now who's laughing, now who's laughing" :D
Stock Viper- good Hennessy- bad
WakkaWu- just so you know- my 2.5 litre car knocks your "High Performance" Cadillac dead in the 0-60 by 1 whole second and has a top speed that is only 6 mph less- with half the displacement (almost) and nearly half the horsepower (I'm assuming that your one is an STS). What is the big deal with leather seats btw??? My last Alfa had cloth seats, my current one has leather- give me the cloth seats any day.............

It is not the most bad ass viper- the car simply cannot handle the power- as Hennessy did not strengthen the cars engine so it could handle the extra power- hence the cars blow- and cost about the price of a Koenig upgrade to the Ferrari 550 Maranello to fix.
Just so you know- the Koenig Ferrari 550 does the 1/4 in 10.5 seconds- through a 580Kw 5.5L Twin Turbo V12 the engine upgrades cost about US$42,000 the Racing brakes are another US$10,000 and the standard bodykit (which CAN be flagged) really gives the car an excellent look to it. Combine all this to the 550's superior dynamics and well-known cornering prowewss and you have one of the worlds most complete cars.
And, yes, I don't just sprout random bullshit- I like to find some facts and throw them at you- perhaps so you can learn a little before flapping YOUR gums. If you aren't prepared to use facts then don't expect to be taken eriously

Hey man, I know that bullshit. First of all the Hennesy isn't a one shot car. That thing can last along time if you don't run the shit out of it to see if you can get a world record on the 1/4 drag strip. This thread was originally what 3 cars you would like. It don't mean that you are going to buy them and actually have them. So why the hell are you giving me prices. Do you think i care??? If you ask me, you just waisted your time looking that info up b/c i could care less how much brakes and engine upgrades cost. If im going to spend that kind of money it will be in something that can help me. The answer to that is...My Race Car. You don't get anyware in a damn street car with 900+hp. Again i will try to say this one last time. The 3 cars i picked are the 3 that would be nice to have. I wasn't planning on looking to see if i can get them..... So jimster...how about looking in your information and tell me what the most bad ass viper is??
--Another thing...how about laying off me and a couple of other people.

Ferraris were built to have the shit run out of them- because thats what people do with them Koenig simply make it more fun. If you can't run the shit out of a Hennessy then what is the point of having one? to look good? and the engine eventually feels the effects of the Turbo charging and soon blows at a low mileage.
And if you would like to have one of those cars- like the thread says- you would have to pay big when the Hennessys engine blows- and I would have to pay Koening to upgrade my 550 (Even though it wasn't on my list) thats the fact of life- because basically- you are saying that you would like to oown the cars you listed someday.
And the most "bad-ass" Viper? Why that'd be the GTS-R of course
as for laying off you? No :) You clearly need to learn a bit more about cars other than they have wheels

I think if Jim spent as much time working at a job making $, as he does looking up facts that no one on here seems to care about, he probly would have enough cash to buy his dream car. Not that I am putting you down Jim, just my 2 cents after reading all the posts. Everyone has their own opinion, if they didnt we all would be driving the exact same car.:argue:

JIM got a ? I know you are totally into the new Cayenne thats coming out, so this is why I am asking you. I know it is going to be the fastest stock SUV on the market, but how does it compare to past projct cars, I remember a durango that was twin turboed I think , and a ranger that got a supercharger mustang engine, if I rememer right. Well either you will know what I am talking about or you wont. But either way post what ever you find, THANX. :D

Well with a decent buildup I'm sure that a project SUV will be faster than the Cayenne- but remember- there is a lot of aftermarket for the 911 Turbo- so a Porsche Cayenne project car would be very interesting indeed:)

I really like the car in my sig, but it's not in my top three, definately in my top ten, probably number 5 or so. Just because you dont see it doesnt mean I dont want it:cool:

Its not a durango, its a magnum srt 8, but its a sport wagon, whats up with that. Anyway keeping with what this post was originally about I would want a Dodge Tomahawk (as seen in the march issue of car and driver page 34) a four wheel bike with a viper engine, 500hp, 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds, able to hit 300 mph, thats the only ride I would need.

Ok i stopped reading these posts halfway through becuase they were simply rediculous. A viper is a sports car, and a badas* one at that. Yes it is a simple design and not very much horsepower per liter. To say that horsepower per liter is not important is also stupid. Smaller displacement motors with high horsepower can have many advantages, but if u take a larger motor and simply get tons of horsepower out of it, then who cares. The fact is that the people who made the viper were not looking to get alot of power out of a small motor. The American style is to have power to make up for the fact that it is heavier and less efficient. When u can afford a 90,000$ sports car, who cares about fuel economy anyway. Yes the viper doesnt out handle some porsches and ferraris, but it is by no means a slouch with 500 hp behind it. If a 200 hp acura rsx is a sports car, then im sure a 500 hp viper is too.

The thing is i can drop an NA V8 427 into a C5 and get more Horsepower on a *dyno* than a viper does at the *flywheel* w/ a 500ci V10, so what does that tell you about the Viper motor?

Its ancient. If thats ur argument, then why do people bash the 4.6 mustangs verses the 5.7 comaros. The new mach 1 by the way is naturally asperated and runs a 13.1 stock on street tires. That is engineering, and its 29 grand laoded
