Item: Chevy 350
385 HP Fastburn

My question is whether this engine can be placed into a 2000 Camaro, the Chevy 350/ 385 HP Fastburn. I've discovered that the engine size is 350 cubic inches. The LS1 is also the same cubic inches, but what do I need to know in order to know that this engine will certainly fit in my Camaro, or if it does at all? I've found the engine at this website http://www.high-performance-engines.com/ce04.html (http://) and this website http://www.paceparts.com/product.asp?0=239&1=241&3=933 (http://) If anyone has any information about this question or where I could get more information, please let me know! thank you

I'm hoping that the 2000 Camaro you want to put the Fastburn into IS NOT an LS1:confused: If it is, DON'T DO IT! You're wasting your time and money! However, if you're looking to swap a v6 engine for the Fastburn I'd say go for it!:D Don't really know where to direct you, although I'm 99.999999% positive it would fit without TOO much trouble. Your best bet would be to contact a shop or two in your local area who knows what they're doing and ask them. They'll be able to tell you what all will be involved in the swap and might even be able to quote you on it:) Good luck! I'm curious about this too so let me know what you find out!
