Hey all i am just woundering which is faster a 2.2 liter or 2.4. or is there not much diff.? I have a 2.2L and im just curious cause I've kinda been wishing i had 2.4.
Also does anyone know how much HP my stock engine can take. I want to put some mods in it(nothing major just CAI, eletric turbo blower, exuast, new headers..etc.) Just dont wanna add too much and blow the thing:eek: Thanks, i would like to know what u guys think.

You cannot go wrong with I/H/E. (Intake / Headers / Exhaust) These are the basic mods. You will not destroy your car by doing these (unless you do something seriously wrong.)
Its not a matter of how much hp an engine can take, since its the engine that outputs the power. If you go with some sort of forced induction, or nitrous kit, then you have to be real careful.

In my personal opinion I think they are a waste of money. The cold air intake will make a difference, but I think those electric blowers just restrict the intake, and waste electrical power.
Thats just my opinion though. Some people think they help.

I am going to say... don't waste your money. Just like those as seen on tv type deals(they never live up to expectations). If you want power you are going to pay for it. Honestly I don't think a 12volt electric blower could match the cfm movement that normal wot could pull through the filter.
I agree with Hummerman, I think it would just restrict the airflow.
I think between the blades and the elec. motor you would have about a fifty percent restriction in the duct just by it being there.

There is a big difference between teh 2.2 and 2.4. 115hp vs 150hp and I'm not sure about the tq but I'm sure theres a big difference there. You might be better off getting a 2.4L from the junkyard and doing some work to it before swapping in. I think you could probably get some decent power out of one of those motors. I think the 2.4 has different axle ratio, i dont know how hard it is to swap gears but it would help acceleration a lot to put lower gears in.
