ahh... im frusterated with my order.. it hasn't came yet so i can't work on my models :mad:
i Ordered around 1 wk ago... Does anyoe know when i should expect arrival?

Be patient. they are coming from japan directly. on their site they explain that to save on shipping they have to send a certain weight. so you basically have to wait until they have enough orders that total the weight minimum. it usually takes a week depending on the volume they are getting. once you get an email saying that the item has shipped it should take less than a week to come.

The moral of the story here is:
try to find what you got from HLJ from a hobby shop stateside. You'ld already be working with the stuff you ordered if you did.

it doesn't mean all stateside shops will be faster than HLJ
some people have gotten their orders within 2 days from HLJ. I personally received my order in 4 days..
I've waited for stuff longer in the states than that.

The reason to buy from HLJ directly is to eliminate the middleman. When you buy stuff from stores stateside there is markup for the shipping costs that THEY paid for, then the markup for profit. Sure HLJ may take longer but it's also cheaper in the long run, and I plan my purchases there so that no single part of the order is something I need right away, so I can wait.
