:frog: CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A REVIEW OF OLDS DELTA 88? I HAVE A CHANCE TO BUY A 1989 DELTA 88 WITH 200,000 MILES ON IT. IT SOUNDS GOOD AND LOOKS GOOD EXCEPT FADING PAINT. IT DRIVES WONDERFUL..... OWNER IS MOVING AND NEEDS THE MONEY. JUST ABOUT GIVING IT AWAY. WHAT DO YA THINK?

I have an 89 delta 88 coupe and I love it. runs great, no engine trouble, the gas mileage is ok, but not great, and the engine in it can go for a long time if you maintain it. We have a guy that comes into the shop I work at with an 89 buick lesabre, which is basically the same thing you have just a different name, and it has 289,000 miles on it, but he only comes in for oil changes. It still runs great. my feeling is, if you like the car, if it's the right price, if it runs good, then go for it. but thats just me.

I own a 1982 Delta88 Royale and it runs great no knocks no funny noises nothing if you treat the car good it will be good to you.

I got the same ride. It had about 210,000 when I first bought it, and now it's got over 276,000. Only paid $300 cash for it! If the engine and trans are solid on the car, and you keep it well maintained, it will run a long, long time.
