My all-time number one "Go Fast" song...BT - Never Gonna Come Back Down...I think that song was actually made by the police to get young people to speed so they have more people to pull over and meet quota with! Everytime I put it in it makes me want to drive FAST!!:D :D
I think maybe it's because that song is on the Turbo Dreams 2 video which is like the greatest amature racing vid ever! Search for Turbo Dreams on Kazaa if you haven't seen it...Trust, you WILL NOT be disapointed!

OK it is not hard punk, but if i had said emo, then people would have said WTF is that. on another note, turbo dreams I and II were both really badass, and i do agree that it is some of the best amature video on street racing.

No, that's called pop, not punk... geez, get it straight... and Avril? What are you, a 15 year old girl? :hehehe:
Just kidding man, you're free to listen to whatever you want...
I listen to mostly classic rock music, all kinds of metal(with the exception of "heavy metal" from the 80s-early 90s), a little rap, mostly Metallica, House of Pain, Godsmack, Soil, Tool, !!early!! Creed(trust me, it rocks!), Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, George Thorogood and the Destroyers...
If you're really dying to hear what I listen to, here's a link to my playlist... I have no idea how to convert it to HTML, so you'll have to load it, and then DL the songs yourself...
http://members.rennlist.com/sbcspeed/fattylist.m3u
A good unreleased song I think everyone should have... It's kind of universal :D

Pennywise gets decent amount of radio/tv time, but I haven't heard much about them lately.. perhaps their fad has gone down.... But Rancid.. whooooooo... they're always on the radio and tv! Isn't the singer in this new band called the Transplants? I'm pretty sure my friend was telling me about that. And isn't that band also all over radio snd shizzz?
My friend's cousin is the drummer for Voodoo Glowskulls.... He's met Fat Mike(singer from NOFX), and totally dislikes that guy ever since. He says that Fat Mike dresses up to play golf, and also loves ripping the other bands he tours with off just go to get more money. I used to be a HUGE fan of NOFX... My first show was a NOFX show... WHOOOO that was fun.. But man.. After hearing that bad news about Fat Mike really made me think... then you also look at their label.. and see where thats going... ack.. quite saddening...
Next trend will be Screamo though! haha

I listen to punk. Who gives a crap who is a sell out or this or that. It is music, it was made for people to listen to, and like. You like what you like. My favorite band is Millencolin! some people would think they are a well known band, but gauranteed if you just walk up to some person and ask them if they know who they are probably 1 out of 10 people would know. Ask them if they've heard of Blink 182 you would get a much different response.

I actually care whos a sell out and such... Why? Because often times, music is more than music.. it is often a life style. And I lose respect for a band when they become hypocrytes of the messages they send out to all the listeners.
But.. to each his/her own.

When I'm just messing around, drifting in parking lots around cones and such, I listen to my J-pop, Techno, and Anime tunes. (I even match shifts with my Initial D soundtrack. Strangely, "Be My Baby" puts me right in the powerband each and everytime.)
When I'm out crusing around, classic rock is on the stereo. No questions asked. I like Rush a lot, plus Boston, Jethro Tull, Yes, Kiss, The Who, The Guess Who, Kansas, The Eagles, and a bunch of others.
When I'm just out ripping up the backroad corners, though, I listen to the sweet music of four cylinders, 7000+RPM. I haven't found any substitute for the howl of an engine, thunk of a shifter, screech of the tires, and the whir of the gears.

You don't want to know what Happy Hardcore is, it's really cheezy flamboyant music. Take Trance speed up the BPM and add some chipmunk vocal's and the like, and there it is....*shudders*
As for when i'm cruising, I mainly listen to IntelligentDanceMusic or IDM. I mostly get looks from people, like wtf is that? Other than IDM, I get my share of Downbeat, Drum 'n' Bass (picky on it), and Ambient/Ambient House.
I like a wide range of Electronic Music, but I stay away from most of that club cheese.

Everything under the sun, as long as it's not mainstream pop.
Metallica, Soil(awesome band, DL that sheeot!), Godsmack, Deftones, Creed(first album, completely different sound), Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Doors, Deep Purple, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, George Thorogood, Soulfy, Slipknot, Mudvayne....

Well, when I watched the Transporter, I noticed a lot of cool songs, so I looked at the songs on the North America soundtrack. They had songs like Missy Elliot or whatever, so I felt ripped off. I was in europe on completly unrelated busneiss when I found the euro version, which happened to actually have the very songs they used in the movie.
I used to like DJ Kemo, but lately Swollen Members have been realeasing some good tracks, except that Breath one. *Shudder*... :)
