Okay, i'd like to know what kind of engine you'd racers like to have out there in the world? All Engine? Turbo? Supercharge? Etc.

V8 preferably, but a turbocharged SI motor will also do the trick:D

n/a but im thinkin of getting a superchager, but then i would have to beef internals to hold more boost so probally n/a for awhile

all motor. i mean, yeup, nice to have turbo to run even quicker, but still the challenge of having an all motor car running 10's is crazy. (for hondas)

yah i think NA is more fun to. take a B18c 1 or 5 and try to get as much power as you can all motor. anyone can just go out and buy a turbo. tuning all motor takes work and knowledge.

no way! Turbo is the only way to go! Turbos have better compressor effiencies than superchargers! And, turbos don't have the parasitic losses that superchargers have! If it's a 4 cyl, single turbo is the only way to go big!

i wouldnt say tgurbo is the only way to go but it is much better than a supercharger. especially for 4 cylinders for reasons already said by hey yo.....

also, another reason why a big single turbo is better for a Civic 4 cyl is because with a bigger turbo, you get more lag, which I agree is not as responsive but can actually help get more traction off the line. And second, if you want to have a daily driver and want as little lag as possible, a well engineered single turbo can be as responsive as two. I seriously think that 2 turbos should be left for the 6 cyls

p.s. my opinions may be wrong, I'm only 14, but I still think that I know enough to give you advice.

Peace

good job hey yo. you have some good knowledge for a 14 yr old. youre definitely right about the lag thing and all the other reasons why supercharging is bad for our cars. keep up the good work

crvtec does the trick for me

hey yo!

ya, my Mom alwayz says I should stop reading tuning magazines 24/7 and read a normal book! And that I should start thinking of a career as a mechanic, or an owner of a garage! lol Anywayz, if you're gonna do a crvtec swap, don't put a B20 crank in a B18 because the engine sleeve already has a vibration problem at the sleeves with the original crank. And the B20 crank would cause more vibration, so you should rev it up to 8000 or 9000 rpm, or it will warp. I don't think you would do this, but I'm just trying to give people more info about Hondas.

Aight, Peace

You gotta love the spooling noise of the turbo, and then the PSSSHHHH when u step off the gas that comes from the blow off valve. The only reason why not every single engine being made is a turbo, is cost saving for the manufacturers. Theres no other reason not to put a turbo on an engine especially 4 and 6 cylinder ones....
