I was in a town about 30 minutes from my town driving around killing time when I see a new hummer
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid47/pd7a58064a33c5224c3665e88bd4908c9/fcc4b94e.jpg
there was no hummers in that town until this one, and since I was bored I decided to follow it :D Followed it without it seeing me until it pulled into a driveway and the people went inside, and that's when I saw a few other nice cars there.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid47/pf84bd4bf30c5f07efe43d842eb19d467/fcc4b93f.jpg
nice chevy, custom paint job, air suspension, wheels, blah blah blah
then I notice a very nice teg in front of the hummer, one that i've seen around a few times, VERY nice

*cliffnotes* I saw a new hummer and followed it to it's friend's house to talk about their drug dealing ways

I like the new H2. I think it's purdy. There's a lot where I live b/c it's a nasty, stuck up town but that doesn't mean it isn't cool. I've liked the H2 since last May, but I guess I'm alone.
Nice pics, Kicker. I probably would have gone in and started talking to them. :p

IM A H2 STALKER TOO!!!
i have pics but i dont know how to reduce them to fit on AF but there was a coppery orange one here and it will prolly be the only one that ever comes here too unless i go downstate to the dealer...but it was at the dealership in town (the owner im guessing) and it was in the staff parking lot so i went and took pics and ended up getting chased outta the staff lot ...but i got PICTURES! Saw a bad ass 911 Turbo that day too..didnt get pics cuz when i jumped in front of it to get a pic my batteries died :(

I have to say that that is the ugliest vehicle I have ever seen. And with a pricetag that size,it's fairly obvious to me that being rich does not automatically ensure that you have good taste.Given the choice between owning the car I have and owning one of thes...............
................I'm not stupid.I'd rather own the H2.At least then I could sell it to some @ssclown with more money than sense, pay off my mortgage, and still have enough change for a decent set of wheels.

The Hummer was not built for looks, it was built for work. People just tend to use things for purposes other than what they were made for.
I prefer the old body style to the new H2. Not as many shiny parts to break.

Exactly. The H2 seems to be targeted at all the poseurs who thought the Hummer was trendy but lacked the wanker accessories. They've fucked up a perfectly good military vehicle for the very worst of the SUV fraternity IMO.

if u were standing next to an H2 ud have a whole different view..its a bad ass vehicle and IS different from the H1 but is also alot like it just a lil scaled down (in size and price) comparing a new H2 to a 2 year old H1 ( at a price tag of 100 grand or more) id take the H2
they are awesome vehicles! I prefer the old body style to the new H2. Not as many shiny parts to break.
that is a down fall tho...there is way more chrome and stuff on the H2 that can be ruined that wasnt on the H1 ..H1 is pure off roading..H2 is offraoding with on road fun too

sorry, but SUV's leave me cold. And the bigger, thirstier and more expensive they are,the less point there is to the average guy owning one.I cant think of one thing that I do regularly that would be enhanced by this vehicle.

why do you need a fast car??

I wouldn't be seen dead in an H2- I in fact hate all SUV's excpet the Porsche Cayene and Range Rover. The H2s biggest downfall is its looks- in fact it has knocked the Aztek off as the ugliest car currently for sale, next there is the fact that they consume FAR too much fuel- like all SUV's, they are not exactly quick and I can only assume they handle like a boat.
Simply disgusting:rolleyes:

Although she didn't fail, that same thing happened to my sister who goes to college in Florida. She spelled certain words in proper English form (we use it in Canada), such as honour, favour, colour, etc. The teacher marked each instance of it wrong. She's a freakin "international" student, she should be allowed to spell the way that she was tought growing up, and since she'll probly live in Canada after school, the way that's correct in her country....
She just let it go, but I would have appealed the mark. Americans can feel free to spell the way they want, but infringing on a non-American's right to spell the way she was taught is just wrong.

English
I write in both English and American English depending on the audience. If I am writing anything to the folk I work with or anyone else in NZ and it's a direct addressee (eg email, mail or memo) then I use English (NZ). This is a little different from English (UK) but largely the same.
If I am writing to a wider audience esp an international audience then I look at the forum and the participants. You will find that I use both within AF but predominantly choose a style that doesn't require the distinction between English (NZ) and English (US).
When I write some technical stuff relating to another hobby of mine on a US based site I use English (US), it's polite because I am posting as a guest of the US site and I elect to use the English (US) style of grammar, sentence construction, spelling and idiom
