Guys, just want to let you know the Fujimi EastBear Silvia S15 is available now. But once again, very disappointed with Fujimi,
there is nothing significant difference from the previous S15 KITS, IT JUST DOESN'T WORTH 2400YEN.

For people who want to buy this kit, I highly recommend NOT TO BUY IT, see the below pic, and Fujimi removed the Side Skirts (Autech Version doesnt have side skirts as well), what A CRAP :finger4::finger4::finger4::finger4:

this is the part come with SpecR version

I wish Fujimi be acquired by Aoshima in the future, Aoshima improved its quality a lot. I just dont understand WTF the Fujimi people have in mind. :twoguns: :twoguns: :twoguns: :twoguns:

p.s. thanks to internet that we can BROWSE what contains in the kit before we purchase

Add the missing rear spoiler too.

The kit looks pretty accurate to me. No side skirt, no rear spoiler etc.
How is real East Bear S15 supposed to look like? Not the one on the box?

I think it is accurate, but it is just a copy of the other S15 kits without a spoiler or side skirts in the kit.

Correct me if i am wrong though.

u r definitely CORRECT.

BTW, I checked the eastbear.co.jp homepage, the s15 aeroparts section is still under construct. But the S14 look very COOL......I think Fujimi just used their stupid imagination to create a s15 kit with eastbear license plate.

Hirofkd,

The point is that not whether the kit is inaccurate or not.

In my opinion, Fujimi "specifically" chose the East Bear knowing that they dont have to do any extra parts for it. Who knows, maybe the "tuned" parts for the East Bear are the non-visible ones (suspension? engine? interior? Dunno...).

Simply put, a lazy attempt by Fujimi (or many other companies, like Bandai who do Gundam models) to release new models without generating new parts.

I know what you mean, and also why he got upset. But unfortunately, that's a smart way of doing a business. Maximize the sales from the least amount of investment. Don't you think?
I can understand people being upset of not getting the sleek light in the Greddy 9 (me included), but in this case, at least the kit represent the box art.
Actually, the East Bear S15 should have an aero bonnet, but that's another story.
We just have to be careful about Auto Gallery series, because they just have new box and decal.
And as far as I know, none of the DC5 Integra has extra part.

> joecwlaw
How's the East Bear S15 decal? any scan? 2400 yen sounds awfully expensive, if it doesn't have an extra carbon looking hood decal.

Yes they do come with a carbon hood sticker......but i would rather make the hood matt black......

And for the DC5 and New Civic, Fujimi use the same parts for all the release......WTF

the picture on the box is the generic Fujimi box art, turned red and with an added carbon hood. i don't what the hell else on this car is East Bear besides the lisence plate. not even a East Bear decal to put on the carbon hood. i thought East Bear was an aero-only company, so technically if they make an East Bear S15 it should have a complete aero kit. unless the carbon hood decal is East Bear...lol.

What a bounch of bastards. Fujimi needs to get their act together and stop ripping us all off.

They haven't made a complete aero kit for the S15 yet, so I assume the mods are only on the internal components. Except(!) a generic looking aero hood, or light weight carbon hood, and that's what the Fujimi kit is based on.
Shame...

I wonder who gets paid more in Fujimi, the kit engineers or the graphics artists? Probably the latter, they do more work!

i doubt they even have kit engineers there anymore. they fired them all a couple of years ago after they made all of the body's currently on sale. then the other guys take said bodies, add some colorful box art, a shiny new decal sheet and voila! what they think is a shockingly brand new kit. THINK AGAIN FUJIMI!!

is this true??? or a joke? anyway the management there was really bullshit and try to cheat our $$, thanks to 1999.co.jp and aoshima-bk.co.jp showing the details inside the box.

I really hope AOSHIMA take over fujimi business......

hirofkd, are those model company: Fujimi, Aoshima or Tamiya list on Japan Stock Exchange??? if it does, I really want to know what stock price they currrently doing.

This seems like a get rich quick project IMO.
Fujimi seem to do this with most of there kits now....use the same mold but throw a different colour plastic in the mold and some different decals.
You only have to look at the EVO's and Altezza's to see what they are up to  :(

They aren't even qualified to be listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange, so the only way to check the price is to visit a local office of securities, to check if they are for sale. If, it's not for sale, you don't know the price.
After all, fujimi is a company of only 9 people, and releasing that many rebox a year is simply an amazing work by itself.
No one like to release a rebox, but it's their corporate philosophy of allowing compromise. Tamiya does, with a clear, yellow and chrome versions, and so is Aoshima with some wheel variations.
Just write to them. They don't reply to individual mails, but they read and listen.
BTW, I don't think Fujimi can afford a full time designer, but probably outsourcing it. So, the outside contractor gets the money.

yeah for anyone who took my post seriously, it WAS a joke. but i doubt if it's far from the truth. most of their kits (especially the Altezza's, Evo's and S15's) are just a different color with a different decal sheet. i mean, an East Bear S15 without even aftermarket wheels??? gimme a break...does anyone have any in-box pictures of the new Sard Altezza?? on the box art it has a pretty wild body kit, and they can't honestly tell me that put that on the box and not include a nice kit inside it.

I put one on order a while back, so I'll let you guys know. Damn, I hope Fujimi put's the bodykit in it, if you look at the G'Spice it has a bodykit on the box, but you don't get it with the kit!

bah humbug

Why would they take out the side skirts

the G'Spice one did have a body kit on the boxart...but it's not nearly as extreme as the body kit on the Sard one. when i bought the HKS Kansai Altezza, the one on the box had the factory body kit, which is what's included with every single Altezza kit, so i wasn't too dissappointed. hopefully the Sard one is good. let us know Malcolm!

SARD one is priced at 2800 yen. Quite expensive for what? 2 year old model, and the Explosion Altezza does have a body kit, and it was released at almost the same time, and the price was also 2800 yen. Plus, both of them were dropped from 2003 catalogue, so they must be limited releases. So, I assume the SARD one has a body kit.

Explosion Altezza, which has some kind parts bag with a red tab.
