It is sad to look at pics like this, but I get mad when I think it could've been the driver's own stupidity. Sometimes nice cars are just put into the wrong hands.

i would have never tried hill climbing in an H2....that probably why they're at least 50K less than regular hummers....they (to me) considered grocery getters...should have forked up the money to get a real hummer.....if u feel like ur losing traction...that's when u reach over to the CIS

i say one the other day on 64 that had a lift kit...it looked huge...but the H2's don't look like they'd be very stable lifted any higher than what it's at now

The story I heard was that some guy was going off-roading with his buddies, and then they came to some steep hill, they tried to climb it. They came like perpendicular with the ground, then just flipped a few times.

The H2 can climb 60% grade, and traverse a 40% side slope same as the H1.
I get a kick out of you Jeep guys bashing the H2 when the 05 Grand Cherokee has all wheel drive without a locking center diff and no low gear, but it's "TRAIL RATED" lol.

Actually, most of the current Grand owners dislike the 05 Grand. Although the option of the Hemi is nice, IFS and panzy car-like styling makes Jeep look bad. A lot of guys hated the Liberty as well when it came out and has had more problems than the Cherokee ever did.
As for your 60% incline and 40% side slope, I guess you are okay as long as it's paved.... My Grand has yet to not be able to make it where an H1 goes. Granted I have invested in the right parts and accessories to get it that way, but it's paid for and very reliable.
Yesterday I stopped by the library and there was a lifted yellow H2 and I sat there and laughed. What a waste of money to do that to a behemoth of a vehicle that will never go off road. And it didn't even have as much clearance as I do.
