No, I don't get up there to often. We have two good shops here in our area.

Looks fabulous! As with almost all resin kits, they take a certain amount of cleanup like removing flash, fixing air bubbles and checking the engravings etc. How much did you have to do to get to the painting stage, and was this a final production body?

I was kind of rushed to get this done so I didn't snd the body at all,it was pretty clean. I did scribe the panel lines a little deeper. There was only a small amount of flash in some vent openings. I think it's ready to go. I used Krylon Gray primer, sanded that and put on a coat of Duplicolor Primer-sealer which is pretty smooth stuff then sanded that with 3200 grit and sprayed the TS17and clear.

Gorgeous paintwork and great true-to-life car!
Couldn't distinguish it from the real car !
this certainly would look nice hanging in a bonsai tree !

Yes unfortunately it is a curbside but it's an important addition to anybody who's into the cars of Lemans.

For me...curbside means "it gets built". "Full detail" means "it may get built, but who knows when?".
Nice work! That's one I'd like to see on my shelf, and being curbside means it could happen before it's antique.

Jay, you might be on to something there! Maybe the same will happen when a certain dark green LeMans racer from an uppercrust company now owned by Germans who want extortion-level licensing fees is introduced in 1/24th scale resin...
Hmmm, nice silver car there! Nice green racer there, chap! Shades of the old days when you couldn't say "Batmobile" and the SAE contest was reduced to "Build a kit #...." contest.
Grey Poupon should have sponsored that dark green car...

OOOH that's nice! Great job!
Is that a 1/24th scale kit? If so, who makes it??
I was thinking about converting/scratch building one from Tamiya's CLK-GTR kit.
