Did they really make 10 convertible CRXs in 1990? If honda did, i never knew that. This CRX is a DX, did Honda make covertibles in Si or HF trim? I dont know...looks like a custom job to me... :confused: it is quite fugly imho, tho :hehe:

i dont know not a fan of the crx i just saw people talkin about a convert. one and i thought i would post it here

I dont care what anyone says, if i had somewhere to store that , i'd buy it and drive it all the time....i think there fucking sweet....

with the top down its ok, but looks like complete ass with the top up.

Thats why i would need a garage, would never have the top up on it...

i thought the CRX-TT was based off an SI :confused: . I'd sure like to find more info on it....

i figured crx-tt would mean twin turbo.....

It says in the post it is NOT a factory job. Needs alot of work put a b16a in it and go like hell. hmmmm maybe a nice looking roll cage and bikini top on it. turn it into a baja car. lol

the tint job is nasty, look at the windshield, it is tinted more than half way down, that looks bad, and is very illegal

There was no factory Civic or CRX Convertible. Look at it with the roof up, there is nothing there to prevent your imminent death if that car was to flip over.

that thing would never make it out of the factory for that reason, It is a custom job. and maybe they did say it was, but they also said that only 10 were made factory, which has to be BS. no way that could pass the tests it has to. and yes i agree, it is very ugly right now. Maybe with a nice paint job, and a better top on it, it would look better.

Theres a guy in AZ who does it for a living. I remember seeing a primered rex convertable for sale in AZ and he mentioned that he does this for a living...

its not factory, Honda never produced any convertibles of the civic or crx line, it is a complete custom job, and a bad one at that.

i prefer to a run a targa style top with a nice roll cage in my car.

yeah targa top is only a removable section of roof, sort of like t-tops without the middle bar. porsche's, and supras have targa tops.

That was MY idea god damnit! I told my homie about it and 3 weeks later he rolls up in his rex and says "notice anything different?" Im like... Yea you fuckin moolie, you raped my idea.... BTW the convertable CRX's are john candy ASS ugly...

There used to be a green Hatch Convertible on Severed Ties website, but i can't find it on there any more. It didn't look bad at all. They actually reinforced the top when it was up so it didn't look as bad.
