As some of you may remember I was having an issue with my oil level being to high...well..I emptied and refilled it today, I only put about 3 1\4 quarts in just to see what happens, well guess what, after a short drive the oil light come on and its overfull. It doesnt look like coolant at all. The old oil looked really good. I kinda smell a little hint of fuel. How can fuel be getting into my oil?

Is your oil pan smashed or anything?

You might wanna take the pan off and clean it.

Yeah actually Kris could be right. Take off the pan and look inside. You could have tons of goop and shit stuck in there and that of course would cause you to think it's empty since nothing comes out but infact there is a lot of buildup in it.

But how does that account for the oil lvl raising. I checked the lvl right after putting it in and it was fine but after driving it goes up.

I can understand how the sludge could cause it to seem like there's more oil there than what actually is, but how would that cause my oil light to come on and the lvl to actually raise.

I'd remove the pan and see whats going on inside. That may help ya figure it out....
