Well i thought i would brighten up my interior and get some pedal covers. The problem is the gas pedal, i cant seem to get how it connects to the gas pedal. It comes with the little straps that connect via 2 screws. Problem is my gas pedal arm, that it connects the rubber peice is in the way. If i slide the pedal down farther...it will catch on the carpet and not let me push it down all the way. Any suggestions?

I have a 2000 Civic EX.

I just bought new ones...It was the pedal it self....the holes where drilled in the plate to far up. So the back piece that holds the stock pedal would block where it went. GOd i spent 2 hours thinking it was something i was doing. Went and bought some from Pepboys with nice rubber inserts.

Thanks anyway bro...

I know what you mean, if they were just generic gas pedal covers (like mine) then you need to find your own way to attach them so the existing pedal. I ended up making a custom bracket and used a little bit of wire.
