Reality shows love em or hate em

Just a poll sorry no deep thoughts on this:rolleyes: The wife loves em but I really could care less about them.

I dont find these shows funny at all. If I want reality, I will turn off my pc.

since they are the only thing on tv these days..ur forced to watch them

but that trista on the bachlorette is pretty hott

I can't stand the fucking things.

Iam bored with all of this genre.They are beautiful T.V.as far as the economics of making them goes,but they in no way reflect reality.If reality T.V. footage was shown unedited,there would be some point to it all,but only covering the dramas and conflicts tends to skew the whole concept.Come to that,I'm bored with television,full stop.

Pretty much my thought too.

Thats why my T.V always seems to be on the comedy channel, a lot of crap, but funny crap....

i think it is stupid,i used to like survivor but i dont any more cuz u can see that they are running out of ideas

mine mind is set unless they come out with a jap car reality show!

some of them are pretty entertaining at times, but then they can also suck at times. So I really could care less about them, they don't have any impact on my life whatsoever therefore they don't matter.

Anyone see the recent Simpsons ep where they cast them on a reality show about living in a house from the 19th century. It was decent, not the best ep ever, but still good.

The only one I like is Fear Factor

Ive gotta say who cares anymore? Survivor was cool the first time around but its been played out. Joe millionaire would have been ok if it was one episode long but they beat the living piss out of that idea with all those episodes, and look at whats coming out now. Married by america? What garbage, thank god for good quality show like the simpsons and seinfeld.

They get anoying and pathetic, Yeah joe millionare only $!9,000 a year... Sure but after the show hes bound to be famous, get on TV for interviews, make tons of money doing crap like that so he'll be close to a damn millionare regardless

I can't say as I hate them, the whole idea of them sounds so bad I've never watched one. How can I hate something I've never seen?

I get enough "reality" at work every day. When I get home, I want to see something that will make me laugh. Thank GOD for Daria and The Comedy Channel.

Reality shows suck, there couldn't be anything worse on TV besides reality shows and gameshows, why the hell do they call them reality shows? Reality can't be a show, reality isn't TV.

I don't think anybody has mentioned Big Brother yet. What a load a crap that was. Ratings were going down so they introduce celebrity big brother, about as boring as the rest! I guess like people have said about Survivor. The Idea was good at first, but after 2 or so years of it, it gets to the point where turning off the T.V and going outside seems like a break from reality. Reality T.V, that is :D

The thing with 'reality' shows is........they edit all the 'reality' out of them.Film someone for 24 hours,7 days a week for a month and then make 5 or 6 'commercial half-hour'[i.e.21 minute] programs out of it,and what you get is edited highlights of reality.Compressed emotion,if you like.Reality is too boring to show uncut.
