This sucks, but I hink I am getting a little burned out with my civic. I just recently fixed the alternator in my G20. I can say I really missed driving that car. :(

I think I will be selling my civic, and looking for a clean, non wrecked, virgin civic. :(

I bought it wrecked from a kid who had it riced out, and really did not take care of it. So there is some rust in the fender well, both front wheel bearings are showing signs of wear. Front end was wrecked. The bottom looks like it has been taken off roading.

I bought my STD bone stock and no damage at all. I learned my lesson w/ trying to fix wrecked cars. Never feel the same as a clean car (Not wrecked). I know you can get them cheap and it's for a good reason. I hope I didn't get you down but, just sell it and get a fresh car, parts for 4G's are everywhere in the bone yard. Keep your motor and drop it in the next Civic you get! Good Luck Bro!

Yea, I understand ya Kris. I'm sort of like Blu Civic, except for the kids and family, but I still don't have any money to spend on my civic. Any money I get is either going to bills or tryin to pay off a loan a got to get the civic. Thank god the loan is through a friends mom. I'm still tryin to decide whether to get a new engine or pay off loan with my income tax money.

that is exactly why i gave up on the sx, that thing was jacked, and i hated myself when i realized that the amount of money and time i put into that car was all waisted....oh well, i got a nice clean start with my new std.....my income tax check is going straight towards a nice paintjob, i cant wait to get my fender flares installed with my ww sides and rear and my kombat front, its gonna look really clean

personally i like the lost cause cars. broken down 4th gens need love too. however, when i get them i plan to take forever and sink a certain amount of $$$ into it. the last sedan we got the guy happened to be dropping the car off as we were there. he drove it there and signed it over for $300. the paint might be oxidized but it had no major dents. all it needed was an upper control arm. guy sold it to a junkyard over that easy fix.

i know....ask marked001 put it....i'm the old lady who takes in all the stray cats. except i take in 4th gens

The guy sold it. That's the problem with trying to buy a car that is out of state.

I don't blame you , i never buy a car that has been messed about with because you can almost garauntee that it has been bodged, when something has gone wrong, and if you start from scratch you know what has been done to the car and that it has all been done properly.

but thats just me

The car was cheap, and I had/have plans for it. But I keep finding things wrong. Like rust, hidden dents, etc. But I bought eh car for a total of $500 with shipping, sight unseen. So some problems were to be expected. But I hate fixing one thing, just to find out something else is wrong. :D
