Scared! Rear shock pop out while driving

Replaced Eibach pro kit springs and Bilstein Touring shock/strut six months ago. All my tire worn uneven due to aligment were mess up. The more scared, the bottom of my rear left shock pop out from the suspension while I was driving 80 miles/hour on freeway. I thought there is bolt to hold the shock but the bolt is still in place. Anyone know anything about this? Could it be the aligment problem or installation problem?

Calvin, When you installed the new springs and shocks you should have had the alignment checked and adjusted if necessary. I asume that the springs were changed to lower your car this in itself will/can change the suspension geometry. As for the shock falling off, The lower mounting area on the shock which the bolt passes through is an insert that fits into the metal ring thats welded to the main shock assembly if this slid out I can see why the bolt is still mounted to the wheel assy other than that happening it sounds like an installation problem.

I think you need to put a big washer on when you re-install the shock just in case... Don't they come like this? mine does...
