Cadillac Cien

Shouldn't there be a forum for the Cien?:

Perhaps not until it's confirmed as a production model.

But, I got to see one at the L.A. Auto Show, and I really hope it gets made. It's the type of car that really inspires motorlust. :licker: :sun:

Hear or see anything about a price range for this beautiful mid engine v12 while at the show?

There are currently no plans to put it into production. I think the Sixteen will make production before you see anything like the Cien coming from Cadillac.

I think if Cadillac puts the Sixteen into production, they would be willing to give the Cien a try too. Cadillac is slowly pulling away as the dominant GM company, and a new model like the Cien won't hurt at all.

What's the sixteen?

A V16?! Incredible...

Arg, screw the 16, I want to see this car into production. They're probably going to put the Cien's V12 ino a sized down version of the sixteen. SCRRRREEW IT! :mad: IF YOU MADE THIS CAR YOU WOULD PROFIT FROM MORE PEOPLE BUYING CADILLACS BECAUSE CADILLAC WOOULD MAKE THE CIEN THAT EVERYONE LIKES! Arg, why put the V12 of a Cien into a 16? It should be the other way around, or just produce the 16. Put the V16 into the Cien and forget the SIXTEEN! :devil:

Also, the Cien isn't going to production. Just the engine. It was just supposed to be a "birthday present" (cien=100 as in 100 years of Cadillac since 1903)

The V12 isn't going in the Cien (which, as was mentioned, isn't going into production) and the Sixteen (or anything like it) hasn't been given approval yet. The V12 will find a home in the Escalade in 2007.
