So I got pulled over today

I dont feel like typin the whole thing up, so heres an aim convo I had with kicker

Melt Dogg: I got pulled over today
Melt Dogg: I squealed the tires out of the autozone parking lot

Melt Dogg: and a cop at the gas station across the street heard it

Melt Dogg: so I make a quick right onto a side street

Melt Dogg: anyways so I turn on to the side street
Melt Dogg: and the cop flies by me
Melt Dogg: and im like whew, ill just head into the country
Melt Dogg: so right as im making a left onto another main street he pulls up behind me
Melt Dogg: so I pull over
Melt Dogg: and hes like "you came kinda fast out the autozone parking lot"
Melt Dogg: so I tell him whats up
Melt Dogg: and then im like "but im sure you dont wanna hear this shit, cause everyone who gets pulled over gives you excuses"

Melt Dogg: and so he goes back to the car
Melt Dogg: and then comes back and tells me hes gonna give me a warning ticket

Melt Dogg: and he comes back with my warning, and says "drive safe, just making you aware of your habits, that type of shit causes accidents"

I been pulled over 2 times before this, posting a thread each time.

Second time, left on red arrow, got ticket, went to court, got it reduced, went to traffic school (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58293&highlight=encounter+cop)


Anyways, I dont think he had shit on me anyways, he told me the code I broke was failure to yield, but I would have contested it had he given me a ticket.

I've not been given a ticket... but I've been pulled over only once.

i've been pulled over four times. Only three got me a ticket. Two of which i got rid of in traffic school.

dang Jay, that sucks. i once got pulled over and had the cop tell me "i don't believe in giving tickets. consider this a warning. it flooded through here the other day...it's unsafe for higher speeds". other times i wasn't so lucky though

I got pulled a couple of times in my old MG with all warnings suprisingly

hahaha!!!!!! I've got 12!!!!!!!! and none of them are on my record...hahaha!!! I have got a bunch of seat belt tickets and a bunch of speeding...the one Im sort of proud of is my 100 in a 65 while I was going around a turn in the wrong lane. All I got was a speeding ticket, seat belt, and a warning for being left of center. I have learned that telling the cops that you was just going home, usually helps out.

Usually all I have to do is show my military ID and I'm out of it. I havent had a ticket in 3 years though so my record is clean.

I've been pulled over 3 times for speeding, twice for sound system, and the only time a cop has been nice to me was a third sound system incident where he just gave me a warning.

:rolleyes: I have only been pulled over once and it was pretty fun. I got a 60 in a 35... the first words the cop said to me was "Why you weeving in and out of traffic..." Yea... i shat myself.

heh i got pulled over my fair share of times...
first time - i was doing about 110 in a 35... its was like 1 am or so.. the roads were bare but still really bad on my part i know, i don't want to hear it... the cop was out of jurisdiction, heh got a warning... slow down son, ok.

next time doing 35 in a oh wait 35 hah this ticket was pure bs... got nailed for "too fast for conditions" it was a bright and shiny day... but there was a side walk over yonder and other cars running with me... go figure...

the next time... hehe about 115 in a 45 out in the boone docks no where near civilization... he didn't clock me but when ya see a car going by that fast ya know somethings up... got off... hehe they got a priority call... go me...

next time i'm drag racing this kid really late in the night about 1:30-2:00 am i fly past a cop driving the other way didn't notice it was a cop oops... any way i whip a u turn to go pick up my friend i dropped off heh then the lights flash.. shit... failure to signal ( i totally signalled haha) and illegal u turn... it was on a 5 lane road that was completly empty damn it... but no racing ticket whoo hehe

the next time... 45 in a 25.... i just picked up my ladie of the time and wasn't watching the limits and it changed... bastards... i got like failure to obey traffic signals or something of the like hehe my ladie knew the cop hehe yeah

yup thats about it...

oh yeah one mo (sorta) this spring i got followed by a cop, i pulled in to go to work and he like, enjoying the weather, i'm like yeah, hes like new car? i'm like i just got it out from winter storage, he's like i know its a nice day and you want to enjoy it but don't accelerate so rapidly have a good day, i'm like ok, haha i never went over the speed limit that time though

First-Just got my license got clocked at 122 in a 70. License yanked til I was 18.
Second-about 2 months ago for rolling through a stop sign and got a ticket cause I didn't have proof of insurance with me, got waved off in court.
Third-was driving a car that had been in an accident and the license plate was hanging sideways so they pulled me over and I explained everything and got off with a warning.

i have been pulled 1 time and i was doing 60 in a 30 at 2AM, when it was icy, i was just comin off around about when i was pulled.

it was the night of my works do (christmas) and i was well over the drinking limit.

anyways he pulled me asked me to get out, asked me if i had been drinkin and which i replied no, he then asked to smell my breath..

to my amazementhe said ok thats fine and told me to slow down coz it is icy.

I was s*%tin myself and haven't drank and drove again!!

I got pulled over once for "tire squeal" many years ago in a parking lot in my old Capri II. It was actually a big fatty burnout. The cop told me I could get a ticket or do 50 pushups for him then and there. Fastest 50 pushups I've ever done in my life.

I'VE BEEN PULLED OVER 13+ TIMES SINE I STARTED DRIVING IN '97. MY FIRST TICKET WAS THE FIRST WEEK I HAD MY NX2000...50 IN A RESIDENTIAL 35. FUNNY THING WAS THAT WHEN I WENT TO COURT I SAT NEXT TO A GUY WHO GOT PULLED BY THE SAME COP, THE SAME NIGHT, 10 MINUTES B4 ME..

you've been pulled over because of your soundsystem?:confused: how the hell does that work? lol, never heard of that b4. also i havent been pulled over but i have been in a car when its happened tho, were on the QEW (canada) doing 155 and the limits 100 km/h, in a Sundance, suprisingly he got off with a warning, the cop was on a motorcycle too and followed us for 15 mins before he decided to stop us, he told us he wanted to see us going 100 everytime he sees us lol, cop took off first before us so when he was gone we peeled off the highway, missed our exit and had to take the long way home lol. there was another incident but no cops involved with my other buddy lol 93 Civic coupe, D16, we hit 200 mp/h (he has an american speedo in his car... dont ask lol) but we hit 200 maybe 205 or so..... scariest fucking ride EVER! lol cuz the highway was busy, lucky he had new tires and good brakes hehe

Sorry man, but im having a hard time believing this, seeing as the american speedo only goes up to like 120 or so ... are you sure it wasnt in km/h?

it is considered "noise pollution" in some states. cali being one of them.

one of my tickets and another warning were givin for my system also.

it was great with the warning tho, i was playing "fuck tha police" at the time.

first time doing 50mph in a 30mph zone ... should not be a 30mph zone as there r two lanes each way so i just assumed it was 50 or somthing hehe silly me.... cop followed me and only pulled me cos i went around a roundabout twice waiting for my mate to decide if he was gonig home or to his womans house.. so i got 3 points and a £40 fine :(


second time i got pulled in my Civic ... it was jsut after i had fitted my new stero and my back lights where out and my dash lights where out .. down to a blown fuse hehe.. they pulled me i shut the car off and turned off all the lights ... the cop came up and said humm sir please turn your lights on again hehe.... only got a warning but they followed me to my mates house where we had to fine the fuse and replace it... thing is it was 2 in the morning and the fuse jsut kept blowing lol took us an hour before we decided to unplug the stereo until the next day hehe...

Also got done for speeding by a remote camera that u cant argue with or bribe lol 61mph in a 50mph zone stupid speed limit...stupid speed camera... 3 points plus a £60 fine


had a close one the other day in my supra..... went down a motorway at about 140mph got to a roundabout and turned around and went back down from where i came from.... as i was just coming back off the roundabout a cop was on the other side .. i looked at him he looked at me and he turned his lights on ..... i just floored it and that was the last i seen of him as i went and hid for the rest of the night lol... why is it cops always wanna race lol

lol, you most definitely were not goin 200 MPH, lol. sorry man, but that is just not happening. the fastest civic in the world is like 205 or something like that.

lol my friend got pulled over in his 89 hatch with air suspension so we hid the box in the back seat so the cop wouldnt c it and we had a friend in the back seat so we told him to make sure he doesnt step on it and the cop just pulled us over cause we looked _________ i cant spell that word suspesics or someshit i have horible spelling.... but the cop asked us if we had any hoes and then asked if we were drinkin and left
and just as he left the guy in the back stepped on the switchs )= thank god the cop just left

I dunno cuz it said that on the speedo, i think his speedo may be off then but none the less.... it was a fast f*cking ride!! also he put 17's on his car so that off sets the speedo a bit right?? i dunno, i'm just sayin wut i saw so he prolly has a messed speedo

hehehe i got pulled over a couple months ago. Got off with a warning but he was an ass and said that he "KNEW i thought i had a racecar with that little tachometer mounted there". His words excatly...what a dick i wanted to roast em as i drove away.......:angryfire

I hafta say that being in a civic is askin for it. When I had my eclipse gs-t, I got pulled over six times, 70 in a 20, 105 in a 35 (racing at night), 90 in a 30, 55 in a 25, 85 in a 40 (racing), and 29 in a 25. Amazingly, (and I swear on my life that's all true,) only the 29 got me a ticket. Every other time, the cop asked about my car, what kind of top speed I had had it to, how it handled, what kind of turbo it had, how big my wheels were, and have a nice night. Since I go the civic, I've had 3 more 10 over tickets. I swear they just want to get people who drive "unfast" cars fast. I think that they feel like if you bought a car that has a reputation for being a "serious sports car" then you get a little more leeway. Cops suck. There's no two ways about it.

9 times in 4 weeks. Twice in one day. Only one ticket was given.
