because honda was far ahead of their time and it was no secret. instead of being smart and staying ahead they put it on cruise control and drifted through the years. now everybody is catching up and honda suddenly said "oh shit....we better produce something quick and make it look like we're still on top"

sadly for them WE the people weren't fooled. i don't know many in here that would say there first choice for a new car would be a '02 Si. i personally would take a Mini Cooper S, Protoge 5, or hell.....even a 99 Si before i'd bring home a '02 Si

personally, i chose cars for their styling. it is much easier to swap an engine then change fugly ass crack body lines. the '02 headlights make me want to walk up and kick them out.

victorian could design a better car....and she's 5 :evillaugh

we're cool plkelley. however, the general population of older neon RT owners have allmighty sticks up their asses. the new neon has something to back it up.....but the older one

i'm sure everyone now is gonna come over here and freak out. i'm allowed to have my opinion. i think neon's are newer piles....neon owners think my si is an older pile. and so the evil circle continues

does the SRT-4 own the '02 Si.....no brianer there. everything ownz the '02 Si.

i will still take a Mini Cooper S over it. if i'm going to pay for a brand new car i would want style and to be in a whole other class of drivers. probably why i like the classic vw's. a whole different scene from imports.

All I gotta say is that the 02 Si would look bomb if they threw RSX headlights on it...

But no, it's not my first choice for a new car... I'd be down for a protege 5 wagon... I would rather have an older mini cooper though... I like the new ones, but the old ones OWN!

I looked into the proteje 5's and they arent that quick, although the new mazda 6 looks promising.

the new mazda6 is something else i think that car has mucho potential i just hope a good amount of aftermarket parts are made for it my friend wants to get a headlight conversion because the lights look pretty cool i dont know if i agree though but on the SI, come on guys don't fully kick honda in the ass for the new si its not that bad really its just the shape, the are pretty quick, i test drove one andthe shifter is in he perfect place (the dash) and the interior is sooooooo nice im telling you like one of you guys said do an rsx headlight conversion, a kit and 19's that thing would look pretty as far as looks goes.:sun:
