Just recieved my latest order from Japan :D

Now I have 2 sets of AVS model 5 wheels and 1 set of Veilside Andrew Racing Dish wheels.

My problem is which set should I use on Tamyias 350 Z Track edition?

I like this Tamyia kit as it seems to be the most "user friendly" when it comes to after market wheels:D Lets hope Tamiya make more kits similar

Oh yeah the kit will be painted in TS-26 Pure White.

i deifnitley think the Model 5's would look ripper on it. the Veilside's are too VIP-ish for a 350Z. the model 5's provide that perfect japanese tuner car feel/look.

The AVS 5's from this bunch to choose from (they look great on almost everything), but damn...why can't Tamiya just do the REAL track edition rims, which would look awesome! Much better than the rims for the standard Z. And Infiniti's 18" 7 spoke version of the track rims, on the 6 speed G35 are incredible too, but nobody does good BIG diameter 7 spoke rims:( :(

By the way, the latest Super Street has a buncha nice pictures of a buncha 350Zs at a show in Las Vegas. Great reference material;) :)

The Veilsides would look awesome if you were doing the 350Z black. I think they look best and I think the model 5s would go nice on a Supra, but your a pure Nissan man aren't you? :D I see Mechwarrior 2, your case is different to mine  , good game for its age.

having finished the bottom of the car and given the body its base white coat I test fitted the Model 5's and the Andrews. the fronts of both looked good but the rears had to be spaced out using a poly cap cut in half to fill the guards out properly.

have decided 100% to go with the Model 5s as they looked the best.

I will start a new thread soon in relation to the build
