ok .... so here is this dumbass here telling me that a DC2 (Integra Type-R) can "own" a M3 and a S4, even though he doesnt have a clue what an S4 is. He admits that a M3 or S4 can outrun a DC2 on a straight road, but he states that when turning a corner it is a different story!:sun:

dis is what he orginally wrote:

s4? wut da hell is that... sum kinda volvo? haha... and m3 sux.. dc2 ownz it easily

uhmm... well on str8 road ur s4 thingy and m3 mite own mah dc2... but wen it comes to turns... lol

im afraid it'll slow down to like 50km/h for a turn

n sumtimes u kant compare kars... its da way u drive it ~ takes skillz hahaha

somebody just reply so i can show what a dumbass this kid is...
:D

All I have to say is don't underestimate the power of a Type R. I would think the M3 would still prevail though.....

I don't think I would even bother listening to someone talk about cars when they can't even spell "cars" right.

Yah, it's an ignorant kid; I bet by now he's got billions of flames already...

M3 is a touring car IMO, same with the DC2, but there's no comparison with the M3.

IMO, the only HOnda that would be comparable to the M3 is the NSX.

First off how dare you compair the the sophistication of an M3 to an integra. Not to say that acura cars are not good cars, but the time and experiance in creating a M3 far surpases the integra (including the type-r) I was with a friend in his red type-r when he got his ass handed to him in a baverian doggie bag by an M3. Maybe it was my friends driving, or maybe it was the fact that his opponent was driving a much more sophisticated machine. Who knows

it depend if the integra is modified i saw in a video a integra killing a ferrari f355 so it dpends!
if they are both stock i dont think the integra will catch the m3!

I myself am a integra lover and have rode in a type R and I have to say the type R is rather suprising for what it is, but it does not compare to the m3. m3's are corvette territory!:D
I mean look at the facts I think the m3 has a 1/4 mile time of 13.4 or something , I know it is in the 13's stock. And the type R has a 1/4 mile time of 14.5 I believe, or somewhere in the mid to upper 14's. The facts should tell him that he is an idiot!

Gemballa, I know the video you are speaking of. But if you watch it closely you will notice a few things: one, the integra jumps the gun right away, they weren't even looking at their own light, they were looking at the light for the traffic running perpendicular to them, and two, the ferrari doesnt even appear to look like hes racing them. I think from the reaching of the kids in the car that they were just trying to get the Ferrari to pass them fast.

Gemballa, I hope you don't take my comment offensive, I just re-read what I wrote and it sounded kinda rude to me. So just wanted to clear it up that I was just making a statement and not trying to sound like a punk.:)

0-60 times:

Acura Integra Type-R - 6.53 seconds
BMW 540i - 6.3 seconds
Acura RSX-T (Japanese Version) - 6.18 seconds
BMW E36 M3 - 5.5 seconds
Audi S4 Quattro - 5.4 seconds
Acura NSX-T - 5.2 seconds
BMW E46 M3 - 4.7 seconds
My personal 1995 E36 M3 (modded, N/A) - 4.9 seconds

I just had to throw the 540i in there, in case you want to show the guy how a FULL-SIZED BMW (non-///M) FAMILY CAR SEDAN can whoop-up on his beloved Integra Type-R!

The M3 (ANY M3) either wouldn't give him the time of day, or would blow him away so fast he wouldn't know what kind of car it was. And geez, my SLIGHTLY modified old E36 even has over a second-and-a-half on him!

Tell him to get an RSX-T and try again. Then after he loses badly, to get an NSX and try yet again. Then when he loses with THAT, maybe he'll stop ranting about over-priced Hondas! BTW...got two NSX's on my kill list. :D

As for handling, if he tried to keep his Type-R close to the M3, he would end up inverted in a ditch after sliding away like his mom's Crown Victoria would.

Is that enough to set him straight, do you think?

(BTW...Sounds to me like a kiddie who only knows Hondas, and creams his pants whenever an M3 gets near him, and expresses his jealousy with spite!)

The JDM Integra DC Type R would have a far better chance- but the M3 and S4 still dhit on it- the DC has NO advantage in the corners- it is disadvantaged by it's FWD- the M3 has the biggest advantage (Being RWD) and the S4 being AWD is a close second.

Alrighty... well let me first off introduce where I get my expertise from. I own a 2000 Integra Type R and I recently bought an E46 M3. THe best from both worlds I shall say. Well first off the M3 is a beautifull car no doubt about it. JUST BEAUTIFULL. The ITS is a noisy and relative cheap high performance coupe. I took the M3 together with my brother and the ITR to the curves of Los Angeles National Forest. No doubt the M3 had advantage on its almost perfect 50/50 weight ratio, but also take into consideration his statement "... but wen it comes to turns... lol
im afraid it'll slow down to like 50km/h for a turn" TOTALLY TRUE. I had the M3 in my hands and we came into a curve and I was behind ITR and i had to slow the f*&$ down because of my 500 extra pounds of car I have... the ITR did pulled off in the curve (and by the way we both race in curves all the time) and about 2 seconds before the curve was over with the M started catching up. The ITR can pull away from an M3 in consecutive curves with the right tires in it, and the 1 foot brake/acceleration. We came down to the conclusion that if the curves where such that they where right after each other I'd rather have the ITR, but in actual life, curves are not only followed by hills but also by some straights, so although his statement is right, it should add that it only works for consecutive straigh (not inclined) curves...and also the M3's torque will do wonders catching up and passing the ITR in a straight and in an uphillishhh curve. As far as we are concerned the ITR has no chance in a red light, and the closest it will ever come to trying to read the plates of the M3 is at 63ish MPH both thrown into 3rd gear in the freeway.
Oh and by the way mr. NSX never call a person ignorant unless he has called you one.
Mr ScorLibran besides having the wrong 0 60 in ITR (0 60 in 6.26...BONE STOCK) dont ever and i mean EVER under-estimate those "highly priced hondas." Cuase chances have it that your E36 at one point or another will see my brother civic si (~$24,000 total) that does 1/4 mile in 12.8 :) and is going to make you feel a lil bad. Just like it did to me after we raced with my E46 :)
But a Bemer is a BEEEEEMMMERRRR
