Oops...

Ever fallen asleep in class? ever awaken to find yourself being laughed at? I had one such experience today. I was in my english class and I had fallen asleep because of a late night last night. So instead of tapping me on the shoulder, my friend pushes me out of my desk and I wake up on my way to the floor. Had I not been laughing myself I woulda called him a few choice names. so how bout it, ever fallen asleep and had someone laugh at your expense?

Yep, just a week ago. I fell asleep in english and woke up to a camera flash about half an inch from my face. Now there's a picture of me sleeping posted on my english teacher's wall.

Sometime ~August 2002 I went to sleep in one of my IT classes. One of my classmates decided to wake me up by slamming his flat palms down on the desk 35cm from my head as hard as he could. I fell backwards and smacked my head on a desk on the way down. Whole class pissed themselves. :o

Never really fell asleep in HS, but was snoozing all the time in college. Never got caught, though. :cool: I guess I looked the same awake or asleep... :o

many times. use to fall asleep quite a bit in geography, Mr. White would just tell me to wake up, and all the time in English class, i cannot believe how boring that class is!!! never been laughed at really, but sometimes when i wake up i'm not quite sure of where i'm at so i kinda jump but then realize it's alright. but in spanish class if we fall asleep our teacher will get a glass of water and pour on your head

Once had a teacher yell at me three or four times before I would wake up. Didn't matter, fell right back asleep. :D

Been over twnty years since I last fell asleep in school,but on a quiet night shift,Ihave been known to catch a couple of hours paid sleep.:bandit:

One time, when I was Junior in Highschool, I fell asleep with my head on my desk, tilted to the side...

Someone took it upon themself to pour a pixie-stick in my ear. So I woke up with a sugar pile in my ear.

Iv slept through a few lectures, but either never been noticed, or the lecturer didnt care.

my math teacher last year had a monotone voice and lectured on and on for at least half of the period, and i tried everything to stay awake:drinking caffeine before class, moving alot so as to not fall asleep, ingesting alot of sugar. nothing worked. she ALWAYS managed to put me to sleep. needless to say, i failed the class.:(

on a quiet night shift,Ihave been known to catch a couple of hours paid sleep. I'm going to do the same thing in about an hour; I don't get paid enough to stay awake all night :o :devil: Back to the topic, I once fell asleep in an American Government class (not really hard to do) of about 75 people; when I awoke, the entire class was empty and the instructor had left me a message on the board to let me know I had slept through a pop quiz:( Oh well!:bandit: I still passed the cours with a low A average:)

Slept throuhg many a class with nothing really huge happening, but im not much of a morning person so one day at work i decided to try and catch a quick nap from my desk. I brought up a marketing report on my screen so if anyone walked by it would look like i was reading it.

I woke up with my boss standing over my shoulder and the screen saver on. D'oh.

In HS I was voted most likely to sleep through life. A picture of me sleeping took up a whole page in the yearbook. One time I fell asleep in Geometry...6th pd...as i usually do. Well apparently, the bell rang and everyone left, but I slept through, I slept through 6th, 7th, and when 8th started, a friend of mine came over and just tapped my arm and i fell right off the desk. Then i was laughing so hard, i ended up under the desk...It may not be funny to you, but let me tell you, we laughed about that until the day I graduated and some people even remind me of it today...Its been 4 years...DONT PEOPLE EVERY FORGET STUFF?!!!:finger:

word of advice...never fall asleep in an art class! i did that yesterday...woke up to a face full of paint that my classmates decided to practice their technique on my face...

or last week..in history..the teach lectured ALL period never stoping...slept for about 2 min and all of a sudden i hear a book smack about 3 centimeters next to my ear..

i used to fall asleep in Film Analysis when we watched a reallly boring movie or something I'd seen recently.

I loved that class, how often are you allowed to watch Terminator 2 in school? Or for that matter any R rated movie with surround sound, volume all the way up. You could hear the movie cursing from down the hall way. Fun times :D.


One time in 9th grade my friend fell asleep in Math class, and had covered his face up so you couldnt see him sleeping. But I reached down to get something outta my backpack and I could see through his 'barrier' made up of his arms.. this pool of drool. I started laughing so hard the teacher asked me what was so funny... I said it was something outside... Cant rat the friends out.

In high school I had to try to fall asleep, and now in college I have to try to stay awake!

Ive fallen asleep a few times, in English and Phsics. No one noticed, I just wake up suddenly cuz i know i was sleeping, my start is enough to let ppl know i was sleeping.

we had a freind that fell asleep at our house one time. we painted his lips with tabasco... when he woke up it was funnier than hell...

'oh oh, my lips are on fire!!!!'

Well, it wasn't at school which would have been the problem. Just today I woke up at 9 (my alarm clock's set about 15 min ahead) I had a chemistry FINAL at 8:30. I put on a shirt, began running to school (No car :mad: ) and it was roughly -40C today (I kid you not) and then about halfway there i nearly collapsed, ran up to some guy's car at an intersection explained my case and managed ot get a ride, you'd be surprised at how many decent peopel there are out there. Needless to say the exams was pretty easy I finished with time to spare.

I am just a high school student and I sleep every single day in Spanish class. It is my way to protest beaing forced to learn a different language. English is fine with me. :flash:

dont really sleep in class, but once i did for a while. but the bad part was i suddenly woke up, like i thought something was happening,
so i jumped out of the seat looking all scared.. and yelling out "what happened"..

this all happened when the class was quietly paying attention to the proff..

yeah people laughed.. or thought i was crazy...

Realy, i cant fall asleep in any of my classes, just for one reason, i might be talking while sleeping, or sleep walking, which happend to me when i was sleeping over at my friends house with bunch of guys and girls. Was very :o
Anyway, my english class is also boring, and i want to sleep, but meh, people are gonna laugh :)

I fell asleep yesterday in US History and was trying to take notes as I was dozing off, looks like a bunch of scribbles and lines. Not to mention my teacher saw this so he asked md a question related to the material we were studying, needless to say I was embarassed by my teacher in front of the class. Oh well.
