I own a 95 maxima GLE and recently there has been a whistling or maybe even a whining sound coming from the drivers side front wheel area. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me an ideal of what it maybe. My brakes and rotors are new...

Need more info please. Does it happen when you are driving? When engine is cold/warm? How many miles do you have? Any recent repairs or mods done?

It starts whistling as i'm driving. After i've driven for awhile. And I have 58,000 miles with the most recent repairs being fuel injectors replaced.

Does it sound suspension related or engine related. Is it a loud whistle. Can you describe your whistling a bit more. I'm trying to get an idea of that it could be. Does the noise happen sproatically or everytime you drive? On turns?

Suspension. It whistles everytime I drive and as i'm coming to a stop it seems to alternate between a whistle or a whining sound. I've had someone tell me it sounds like the brakes, but they're brand new? I hope this helps a little more. thanxs

That could be a possibility. You could have a sticking caliper that is causing the pads to constantly rub. There is an easy test for that. After a drive feel all of the wheels and if there seems to be one that is hotter than the others you have found your culprit. For some reason I don't think it to be the brakes. Have you inspected your CV joints lately?

Same problem here. The noise is not very loud tho. It sounds like a tire loosing air, but it's not :) It comes from the driver side in front. I have this noise even when I'm in parking gear. Anyways, thanx for advice.
